SNOWBALL I

Snowball I is a white cat and only seldom appears in flashbacks, but has been talked about on many occasions in the show. He was the Simpsons family's very first cat and lived for 5 years.

The first time snowball I got mentioned was in Marge's letter where she says that Snowball I had died that year.

According to Lisa, Snowball I was in her poem, run over by a Chrysler. Later, it was found out that Snowball I was run over by Clovis Quimby, the alcoholic brother of Mayor Quimby. Snowball I was buried in a graveyard in the Springfield Pet Cemetery. But, at one time, its grave was seen in the Simpsons backyard beside Snowball IV's grave.

SNOWBALL II

Snowball II was the Simpsons' second cat. It was named after Snowball I . Snowball I had white fur, which certainly inspired its name, Snowball II had black fur and greenish-yellow eyes.

It disliked Homer as seen in some episodes. In the episode "Mr. Plow", she meows furiously at Homer's rapping, and in the episode "The Old Man and the "C" Student, she seethes at Homer and swings her claws at him for wrapping her up in the paper.

Snowball II was hit and killed by Dr. Hibbert's Mercedes-Benz. After many brief replacements for Snowball II, the fifth Snowball was named Snowball II to avoid future confusion and having to spend more money to buy a new pet bowl.

SNOWBALL III

After the death of Snowball II, Lisa soon adopted Snowball III from an animal shelter. After coming home with snowball III, Lisa went into the kitchen to prepare cat food for Snowball III's a very first meal in his new home. When she went into the living room to check on it, she found him drowned in the aquarium dead, allegedly having tried (and failed) to catch a goldfish.

Snowball III was a male cat with brown fur and had light green eyes.

COLTRANE

Lisa adopted Coltrane from an animal shelter right after the death of Snowball III. After bringing Coltrane home, Lisa played some of John Coltrane's song for it. Sadly, the music either scared it or wasn't to its liking, as it jumped out the window and died.

SNOWBALL V

Snowball V is the Simpsons family's fifth cat and resembles the original Snowball II a lot. The Crazy Cat Lady throws the cat at Lisa while she is grieving the at the deaths of her other cats (Snowball III and Coltrane (Snowball IV). Snowball V and Santa's Little Helper are the two current pets of the Simpsons family.

There is a surmise that Snowball V is the new and enhanced Snowball II, but there is no actual proof, besides for that she looks like a duplicate, but in the real world, numerous cats are identical. It may even be related to her or an identical twin. Still, the answer to that is unknown.

PLOPPER THE PIG

Plopper is Homer's pet pig. Homer first met Plopper in Krusty Burger. Plopper is really famous for being called "Spider-Pig".

Plopper was adopted by Homer after he saw him in a  commercial of Krusty Burger, filmed live at one of Springfield's Krusty Burger spots when he was going to be killed (he thinks that animals that wear human clothes should not be killed).

though his legal owner is Homer Simpson, he also has been used by other people of Springfield, including Luigi by finding truffles, although his job met an untimely end when Lisa find another way to detect truffles, assigning him to juggle steak knives.

Plopper ultimately became so popular that he was put on the Springfield Wall of Fame.

SANTA’S LITTLE HELPER

Santa's Little Helper was born on May 12, 1983. Santa's Little Helper has been with the Simpson's family the entire series instead of dying like their other pets.

He is a Greyhound and has light brown fur. His rib cage is clearly visible probably because of being malnourished, but this isn't because of any sort of neglect as the Simpson family is seen feeding Santa's Little Helper the proper amount of food and, on some times, more than usual. Plus, Greyhounds are this thin even in real life. PINCHY THE LOBSTER

Homer found Pinchy in a supermarket and decided to take him home to fatten up to eat. But slowly he grew emotionally connected to the lobster and decided to keep him as a pet, even gave him the name "Pinchy". He kept him in the fish aquarium and then in an indoor wading pool. Marge wanted to cook him so she could get rid of him, but Homer kept seeing Pinchy as a poor "little guy" whereas, In Marge's eyes, Pinchy looked like a common wild lobster.

Homer ultimately killed Pinchy by accident while giving him a hot bath (which ended up boiling him), and ate the entire lobster by himself while mourning and crying over the loss as according to Homer, "Pinchy would have wanted it that way."
