idk people are so stupid it really sucks. once i again i will reiterate that the way to build solidarity is for those with more power to align themselves with the struggles of those with less power. at least i know that community does exist cuz that is who i’ve tried to surround myself with on here. ok if you get what i’m saying i love you. i am going the fuck to sleep

years ago when this wave of the terf movement was first starting to bubble up i remember laughing at it because it seemed so nonsensical and terminally online and easily disproven. and then it started taking off as an actual force to be reckoned with and i was like wow, this is going to get really bad in my lifetime, isn’t it. and today i laughed at “misogyblanc” because like, how stupid can you get. but . 😐

i know this is standard rhetoric that’s been disproven time & time again but this is a fucking insane thing to say it’s like when cis men get upset about feminism because men commit suicide or whatever. “the whole point” of what? transitioning? people transition because they want to transition, not because it’s gonna airdrop them into postgender ancom utopia. idk do you think black women don’t face misogyny from black men because they’re all just black? do you think disabled gay people don’t face ableism from abled gay people because they’re all just gay? & tme/tma is not gender essentialism tme includes cis men and cis women too. if you really care about equality, the first step to eliminating an axis of oppression is acknowledging it exists. it’s not “perpetuating the cispatriarchy” to acknowledge reality. it’s basic intersectionality like i thought we understood this
