Thursday
For some reason, I woke up 90 minutes earlier than usual, but I got up and did my morning routine. I had my regular breakfast and watched YouTube.
I was preparing to go to the pool when I noticed a light layer of snow covering the landscape outside, which looked quite pretty. Once I left the house, the day turned out to be beautiful. The sky was clear and very blue, the sun was warm and bright, there was no wind, and a gentle cold breeze was in the air. A perfect day for walking.
I swam only 1.5 km because my legs almost cramped. I tried to stretch and massage them without success, so I went to the sauna. After that, I walked home.
At home, I had two feta tortillas and a banana, then rested on the couch for a while. My friend sent me a message—he and another friend wanted to play Helldivers 2, and they invited me to join them, so I did. We played one campaign, witnessed Angel’s Creek being destroyed by a Meridian Singularity, and then started a bot campaign.
Later, I went to the store to buy fruits, rye crackers, prawn paste, and pork paste. I had always wanted to try pork paste, and now I finally had the chance.
For dinner, I had quite a few rye crackers with the two pastes and a couple with cheese and butter-margarine. Then I had the last portion of ice cream and watched YouTube while trying to stay awake.
Now it’s 21:30, and I’m thinking of going to bed early.
Tomorrow, I’d prefer to wake up before 10:00, but I have an alarm set for 10:00 to give myself enough time to get ready for my dentist appointment at 12:30. I will walk to the dentist again, and that will be my walking exercise for the day.

Wednesday
A shorter recap of Wednesday than usual. Not much happened. I had my regular breakfast—oatmeal and a banana. I was bored and unsure what to do for the whole morning until noon. Then I went for a walk, taking a longer route with an extra-long addition. While walking, I listened to a podcast about Bashar al-Assad. According to Google Maps, the route was 4.8 km long and took around 50 minutes to walk.
Then I had some lunch, took a shower, and was bored out of my mind. I'm lacking motivation to do chemistry, and I need to regain it somehow. I had the same dinner as yesterday—nothing too special. I played four games of Dota 2 with friends, and later in the evening, I played Helldivers 2 with a friend.
That's all for today!

Week #7. Tuesday
Tuesday
Today in the morning, I woke up around 10:00 and had Yorkshire tea, a banana, and oatmeal for breakfast. I took my vitamins and started wondering what to do. I watched YouTube and scrolled through news websites until noon, when I left for the pool. The walk there was the opposite of yesterday; the sky was dark, and a chilly wind blew. Small snowflakes fell from the sky, but not enough to cover the ground.
At the pool, I swam 2km, fixing my swimming cap and goggles for the first 500 meters, then had an easier time swimming to 1500. The last 500 went smoothly. Overall, the swimming felt lazy and heavier than usual.
The walk home was similar to the walk to the pool, except there was no snow falling from the sky.
At home, I ate 4 soft-boiled eggs, 2 bananas, and 2 kiwis. I was quite peckish after the swim. Then I made tea and played Civ5 until the point in the day when I was supposed to go to the store to buy food for the week.
From the store, I bought some digestive biscuits, kiwis, and tortilla ingredients. I decided to have some feta tortillas later this week. After I arrived home, I made some dinner: two potatoes in honor of the nationwide potato week, prawn-marinated pickled herrings, olives, raw carrots, and halloumi. The portions of all my dinner ingredients were quite small, but I liked them all. It was maybe a bit unorthodox having them all on the same plate.
Then I made a bowl of ice cream with mint chocolate bits, whipped cream, and caramel sauce. I rarely eat anything sweet during the weekday, but as my grocery store partner bought some, I decided to have some as well.
Then I played two Dota 2 matches with a guy I know, and we won both. The first game was an easy win, as I played position 5 Ringmaster. In the second game, I played position 3 Earthshaker. That game was a bit of a fluke, as I picked in the second phase in ranked, and the enemies took Broodmother mid. She ended up being quite shut down.
Other notable things from that match were that I had to rush BKB right after Blink from lane, as the enemies had Nightstalker, making it hard to use my ultimate. The situation of the match seemed a bit rough, so after BKB, I bought the Shard so we could defend high ground. I played well in that match.
After Dota 2, I went to play Sims 2 and designed a house I actually liked in terms of the room and yard layout. However, I completely failed at using the space I made and chose the wrong wallpaper for the outside of the house. I don't wish to babble anymore about my Sims 2 run—I'll continue it tomorrow.
The dentist said yesterday that my tooth, which was fixed, could hurt for a week up to a month because it was so close to the nerve, but I barely notice any pain. If I bite down and focus on it, I can feel something, but otherwise, it’s barely noticeable. I'm guessing that's a good thing!
Oh, and the cat that was sick last week has completely recovered! He is back to being the lovely pest he is!

Week #7. Monday
Monday
First, I must go back to early Sunday night. I had to confront a person in a shared social group. I had blocked the person, but luckily, the moderator took my side, and so far, the situation is not bothering me.
Today, the headache I’ve had started bothering me more, and I localized it to the left side of my head. I booked a dentist appointment with a private company to check and fix a cavity if there is one. I'm quite sure there is, but the tooth itself does not hurt—rather, the area around it does. I suspect the cavity is causing the headache. I'm assuming the pain radiates to my eye and ear from the tooth.
Walking to the dentist was pleasant. The view was magnificent, and the weather was nice and cold, with a clear sky and bright sun. It was a perfect day for a 1.6 km walk. I planned to take a short extra walk on my way home from the dentist.
I saw a funny tweet on Twitter, which I use for entertainment, where my Minister of Finance "ratioed" a student group. In short, the students were upset that they felt forced to work part-time while studying, despite receiving a completely government-sponsored free education. The minister responded in an amusing way, and apparently, many people agreed with her that there is nothing wrong with working a part-time job in a fast-food restaurant.
The dental problem I had was more serious than I thought. It was a big cavity, almost reaching the nerve. Luckily, it hadn't reached the nerve, but it was very close. I'm glad it got fixed, but on Friday, I have another similar cavity being treated, though it's smaller. I need to ask my mother to pay for the second procedure, as I used private dental care, and it is a bit pricey. I wonder if the nasty interaction I had with her a week ago plays a role in that.
As a matter of fact, I did not take the extra short walk, but instead, I walked to the pharmacy to get the prescribed toothpaste. For lunch, I had a Subway sandwich with the vegetables I always get and "light" mayonnaise. I don’t think any mayonnaise can truly be light. My regular vegetables from Subway are lettuce, cucumber, olives, and onions. Of course, I had cheese as well. Once I arrived home with the sandwich, I waited around 20 minutes before eating it. Even though the dentist didn’t say, “Don’t eat anything for an hour,” I decided to wait an hour after my tooth was fixed before eating.
For dinner, I ate three kiwis, two carrots, and 150g of cheap halloumi cheese. I fried the halloumi in a pan because it just tastes so much better that way. Then, I played Helldivers 2 with my friends—we did one Super Helldive defensive campaign against bots. After that, I made supper for myself. My supper consisted of a total of four toasts with lavish slices of cucumber, along with some cheese and ham.
I am about to brush my teeth with the prescribed toothpaste and use it as the dentist instructed. Tomorrow, I’ll try to go swimming.

Week recap. 2025 week #6
Monday
This week started with me finishing my chemistry notes. Why am I making chemistry notes? I'm trying to self-study for pharmacy school’s entrance exam. I don't think I'll succeed and get in, but I'll try my best.
Also, on the same day, I went for a walk. I walked my normal 'Long Route,' but a shortened version, so it should have been about 2.6km. I felt something in my shoe, and the shoelaces were quite loose, even though I tried to tighten them several times. I took those inconveniences as a sign that I should take a shorter walk than usual. I noticed some cat puke after the walk but didn't react to it too much. I can't recall what I ate that day, but for breakfast, I had oatmeal and a banana. The rest of the day, I just chilled.
Tuesday
The next day, I slept too long for my standards and woke up at 11:00, just before midday. The cat who puked yesterday barely moved and refused to eat when I offered him food, so I became concerned about him.
Tuesday is normally my swimming day, but I was tired and had a headache, so I didn’t feel like swimming or walking, and skipped both.
My mother and I took the cat to the vet, where they said he had a hairball in his bowels. Otherwise, he was fine. The vet said the cat probably felt nauseous from the hairball, or he could have a virus causing those symptoms. He gave us recommendations on how to deal with him and told us to bring him back if he kept refusing food and didn’t get better.
I had an argument with my mother the same day. I had a burst of anger and frustration towards her for being privileged and uncooperative. I assume my concern over my beloved cat, my blood sugar levels, and the headache also played a part in that outburst, but what happens, happens.
After taking the cat to the vet, I had a 30cm Italian BMT Subway sandwich for dinner and went to sleep early.
Wednesday
On the third day of the week, I slept quite well, but I felt tired in the morning. I ate my regular breakfast of oatmeal and a banana and offered the sick cat some extra food as instructed, which he ate. That was a relief.
Still having the headache, I ate nothing special. Dinner was baked pike, rice, and olives. I tend to hate pike, as, in my opinion, it has more bones than fish. I played games for the rest of the day and went to sleep at my usual time, between 00:00-01:00.
Thursday
Thursday is another swimming day for me. The day began normally; I ate my usual breakfast of oatmeal and a banana.
I can't remember whether I ate before or after swimming, but I do remember that I swam 2.2km. I swam 1.1km in a row without longer breaks and then swam another 1.1km. I love swimming, so it felt good. I could have swum more, but I didn’t want to tire myself out too much.
I walked home from the pool and then fed the cat. For dinner, I had the second half of the pike and rice. That half was full of bones, so I threw the fish away and instead ate a local cheap version of halloumi cheese, which was surprisingly good. The cheese was not warmed.
For a snack before bed, I had two kiwis and a pear.
Friday
I can't remember much about Friday, but I had oatmeal and grapes for breakfast. I was happy to see that the sick cat was feeling way better than before. He’s still quite weak and not his normal self.
I felt a bit sick still, with the headache and tiredness, so I skipped studying and walking. I played some Helldivers 2 with my friends.
Saturday
Saturday began normally with breakfast and a banana. I played Civilization 5 all morning until 15:00, then went swimming.
I felt sick, weak, and tired while swimming, so I decided to swim just 2km. This time, I swam 1km, then a break, 500m, another break, and finished with 500m.
After swimming, I had pizza with blue cheese, pineapple, ham, and salami. I usually do not pick these toppings. I went to sleep at 23:00 and slept soundly through the night.
Sunday
On Sunday, I woke up early and had breakfast with grapes but no banana. I played games all day, just being lazy, since Sunday is my rest day.
For dinner, I planned to have rice, carrots, and cheap halloumi. Also, on Sunday, I chatted with friends and managed to create the Tumblr. Nothing too much has happened, and the kitty is starting to act like himself again. 09.02.2025

Why?
I've had a long time a want to keep diary, younger I didn't like how paper and pen felt. Now way older, I still got the feel I should keep a diary for myself, to remember what I've done. At the point writing this, I have finished university of applied science 14 months ago, am looking for work, trying to keep myself fit, and I am on special diet. From university I graduated as bachelor of Hospitality management. No, not hospital. Before university degree I was cook, who was trained in culinary school, and I have wide experience of local kitchens, industrial and more fancy, to the smallest stands on streets. I am good swimmer, and try to swim 2-3 times a week, swimming minimum 1.5km, but I try to swim at least 2km. I as well try to go on walks 2-3 times a week, walking from 2 to 5km, while listening some interesting podcasts about historical figures. My special diet is inspired by Magnus Scheving, whose diet I have adapted for my life. 09.02.2025
