i get that sam the character is a horrible asshat but like sam irl?? is he a nice guy?? is he also an asshat? i’ve heard so many people say different things about sam and i’m confused if he did anything awful irl bcus i do not want to support him if he does. ;(

i cant say much cause. i mean, firstly, its been Years so my memory is absolutely fucked -- and secondly, i didnt spend much time with him outside of recordings or talking about commissions. and i... dont wanna talk shit abt him or sing his praises

grian shows up! hes kinda cheerful at first but sam and taurtis are the Opposite of functional people and grian quickly becomes the voice of reason. much to his dismay

halloween happened! much to my dismay! also much to taurtis’ dismay, cause he was stabbed by sam. grian was then forced to dress up as taurtis. nothing is fine

grian has been getting more. not so nice! hes doing his best but trust me he hasnt had much fun and is still forced in the voice of reason role. yknow how he reacts to hermitchallenges? imagine that confusion and “what the heck im not doing this???” cranked up to “oh god im in danger”

the ending happens. its an ending! the trio is put under a witness protection program and are moved to tokyo and thats how tokyo soul starts and yandere high school ends

i talked to a friend abt how different yhs/ts grian and hermit grian is and this was the result of that conversation (and highkey inspired by this drawing)

it's unlikely grian would forgive him, especially at first, but i wanna believe eventually the trio becomes friends again,, maybe it's wishful thinking, but i do want the wholesome trouble trio content too,

like, listen. sam still struggling a little with letting people or things that make him feel happy go? but letting taurtis befriend others? and taurtis in turn helping sam befriend other people as well?? or, sam learning kindness and how to express it to grian, never asking for his trust, never saying he has to forgive him, but still wanting to show he's better???

ok that was harsh jgfdgfhj but like. the series is bad. we're still here due to nostalgia and taking the lore for our own n that's abt it! if you wanna get into yhs i'd recommend watching maybe a few of the first episodes, but if i remember correctly, episode 40 is where it goes downhill fast so it's around there that you'll wanna watch all of the eps

if anyone has any better advice or knows the exact episode of the halloween stuff feel free to rb w/ it cause i'm so bad at this
