Guys be careful because apparently there is a new way that people are trying to hack into your account by saying that they accidentally reported your account. After that they'll ask you to send an email to tumblr support (red flag number 1 because surprise surprise is not legit and if you need support from tumblr you go through the help center and not an email!) so that this issue gets resolved.

However, after you send that email, in a few minutes you'll get an email from them saying that they have detected suspicious activity and that they will create a temporary account to communicate with you and to gather some information (red flag number 2 and ngl but to me it looked legit and I was a fool for falling for it).

That temporary account will follow you straight away and once you message them about the situation they will ask you for some information like your date of birth, the country where your account is registered, and the email associated with your account (BIG RED FLAG NUMBER 3). And once again I was stupid enough to give them this 🥲

After that they'll ask you to change your email to a temporary one as follows:

But this is when my spidey senses kicked in (hallelujah praise the lord) because can you see that they first told me to change my discord email even though we're literally talking on tumblr, like??? And then can you see that they can't even spell tumblr correctly even though you work for tumblr support??? And the cherry on top is that they kept changing the emails.

Then, obviously, all of the lights turned on inside my head and I realized that this account was the one behaving suspiciously 😂. So I confronted them (please enjoy even though it's short):

And of course they blocked me or deleted the account or whatever.

So moral of the story, be careful about this type of phishing and if you're employed (but also if you're not) please don't forget to keep your mandatory training in data security updated (which apparently I have to retake now 😂). And yes, tumblr has been contacted about this through the HELP CENTER.

I haven't seen that many people talking about it but the youtube boycott starting aug 13th has like 0 drawbacks. you'll watch less slop, your cool video essays will still be there after yt rolls back their censorship policy, could be a chance to join your fave's patreon, take my hand let's pirate a damn movie. Amazing how they did that not once, but twice. I feel it was most likely intentional with the voice actors, and they maybe adapted the characters to resemble them, but how the hell did they get that lucky with the singers?!

Not only is the video itself wonderful for the reasons you mentioned, but I also find myself indirectly rewatching it via reaction videos made by YouTubers just starting to discover Infinite. And it's a delight to see how each and every one of those YouTubers enjoy what each member brings to the table, from Sungjong's soft high-pitch voice to Sungyeol dancing along to the tunes.

Rock singers, huh? That kinda makes sense. I've seen a couple of Sunggyu's solo songs, and he had a bit of a rockstar vibe to him on those ones. (The one that comes to mind was called "60 seconds" I think?)

Ok maybe this doesn't count as much because it's half cover but this has to be one of my favorite on TV solo performances sunggyu has done. Firstly time walking on memories in his style is HEAVENLY (I like it more than the original, take that JW /j). But I just love hearing sunggyu sing like this. Kontrol is also just such a pretty song so put Kontrol and time walking through memories together its almost perfect!

(after listening to it a couple of times) this sounds really melodic and soothing. I can hear why you like it!

Also, listening to this cover, I feel like Sunggyu usually sings at a bit of a higher pitch in a lot of Infinite tracks (correct me if I'm wrong though), so it's cool to hear more of his deeper vocal range. It goes to show the level of versatility he has!
