NEW YORK (AP) — New York Attorney General Letitia James on Monday told hospitals that they would be violating state law if they stop offering gender-affirming care for people under age 19 in response to an executive order from President Donald Trump aimed at curtailing federal funding for such treatments.

In a letter, James, a Democrat, told health care facilities that refusing to provide the treatments would violate New York’s anti-discrimination laws.

“Regardless of the availability of federal funding, we write to further remind you of your obligations to comply with New York State laws,” her letter reads.

The only bad thing about Yandex is that it DOES track your location (from what I'm seen, it's just for the weather but even then, and the location seems to be wrong 70% of the time) and the text is really small, and you do have to go through another search engine to access it.

Yes, they all redirect to articles on google (or their google urls, at least), but it reveals the sites that may be hidden by google.

i can’t share the entire video here, but i will leave the first section below. i found it very reassuring. AGG’s advice was very comforting to hear after i read the election results. coming from one of our elders, such soft-spoken, realistically doable and clear cut tasks he’s given us, all with an empathetic tone like that of a loved one on your life… it means a lot, especially to those of us who don’t have outwardly supportive/understanding adults in our lives, or those of us who have very loudly bigoted relatives.
