my interpretation of the individual kaibutsu was influenced by a protracted familiarity with girls in parochial uniforms, who by my observation often fell somewhere in or between several archetypes which may or may not be represented in this rendering

yuque is a very good new fangame that has hints of an underlying darker plot like .flow, though it's not as concrete. i really recommend it.

i really love your art! what other fangames have you played, and would you like recommendations?

yeah i like to bond with a person over indie games.  here’s what i did in the order i did it and how it left me feeling:

yume nikki - classic with unique and memorable imagery granted i played it ten years ago

.flow - thematically cohesive with implied narrative open to extensive interpretation

yume 2kki - all over the place in a forgivable way given its open sourcing but god it takes forever to find the good stuff or hell even stay there once you’ve found it DAMN

me - so strange i had to know more and i’m sad it wasn’t finished

lcddem - too laid back and cheerful for my taste i got bored

debris - i’ll have to revisit that one

i like a game that makes me curious and paranoid.  in the realm of yume nikki fangames i think that means some semblance of a story you can uncover and a variety of events that punish you for trying to find it.  recommendations???
