jessamine is so underappreciated no joke

Jessamine going from despising everything about being Nephilim and wanting nothing but to escape, to protecting the entirety of the London Institute against Sebastian. and she somehow fended him off successfully, which no one had succeeded in up to that point. she’s a badass.

it reminded me of what Jem said about our souls: that whatever the design and shape of it, if you have the soul of a warrior, you are a warrior. I feel like that applies to Jessamine very well. she was a warrior in her attempts to escape and make a life of her own, even if she did not succeed in the end; and she still was when she chose to remain and protect. I hope she found peace.

being into kpop really does prepare you for this stuff. im one year older than tavvy (same month too!) and ty and kit would basically be as old as Jungkook from BTS rn. i've played these games before. i'm actually glad I'm not older than them idk, makes me feel out of place

What's crazy is that I keep picturing Ty and Kit to be my age, but every now and then my brain likes to slap me with the fact that in real time I'm actually the same age as Tavvy.

Same month, year, everything. Which is absolutely insane.

Like, Kit and Ty are currently 27 while Emma and Julian are 29!?!?!?! @hahahax30 posted about how TWP could really be considered historical fiction because it's going to be published 11 years after 2015, the time it's actually set in, and this just really brings it home for me.

I don't know, I just hope Kit and Ty are living happy, domestic lives right now in 2024. Maybe they have a cat or two. Ty works as a detective and maybe Kit does stuff with shadowhunter-faerie relations, I don't really know. I just want them happy and at peace together in present-day :)
