i have a friend who is colorblind.

i have another friend with synesthesia where she sees colors when she listens to music

my colorbind friend has always wanted to see color and because my friend with synesthesia and my colorblind friend have the same taste in music, she describes color to my colorblind friend by relating it back to music

like “the sky is duke ellington’s satin doll”

and it is the purest thing this is what pure friendship is

If your partner requires to know all your friends that you are going out with if not they get mad you had fun with them. 🚫 If your partner forces to attend with you everywhere if not they get mad you went out. 🚫

If your partner don’t respect your you time with your hobbies. 🚫 If your partner mocks at your hobbies. 🚫

If your partner uses your past to manipulate you, or invalidate you. 🚫 If your partner uses their past to manipulate you. 🚫

If your partner invalidates or reassigns your identity be it ethnic, religious, lgbt or other. 🚫 If your partner is just into you because they fetishize your identity be it ethnic, religious, lgbt or other. 🚫

Reason enough to talk the issue, distance or break up.

Such is toxic behaviour that uses to escalate to worst dynamics in which you won’t be happy nor grow.

If you can’t be yourself, talk freely, if you don’t communicate fairly and clear, what’s the point of keep dating that person? If you have to stop being friends with your partner soon the fundation (as honesty, respect, …) disappears.

Usually those behaviour are not noticeable at the beginning because both are so into each other they don’t notice how bad those behaviour may feel in the long run.
