Los Angeles
More and more (bad guality) pictures and feelings from the week in LA.
First of all, travelling there. We started from München, only one and half hour flight to Coppenhagenand change the flight.
Our travel agency fucked up A LOT (anyone thinking to use agency KIWI, just don‘t). They couldn‘t book snowboard bags for us or even get the food for plane on time. Must do everything by yourself, not much work and could be even cheaper. So for 11hours flight with Norwegian, no food, only snacks what we bought. Everything went fine UNTIL half way when every bread, salads were sold out, hungry, tired and angry.:D Service wasn‘t good eather, but we made it to LA!
With visa (needed also holiday visa there, cheap and easy to get) and passport control all went really fast without problem. Got all the luggages and bags. Time to head to our flat with taxi. It was at Atwater (expensive, what we heard), nice and calm district. Of course police was driving and flying with helicopters all the time.
It‘s easy to go everywhere with public tranportes, train, bus, metro. Just need pretty much time to go everywhere, even though in map it doesn‘t look so far but it is!

All the places about what I wrote were amazing, only big letdown was Chinatown, little Tokyo etc., all these places wasn‘t anything like in the movies or so on. Dirty, ugly, small and we didn‘t even realize that we are there. But we saw those places, no need to go again.:D
But we found Phillippe‘s sandwich place (or something like that was the name), damn it was good, not so expensive eather, just don‘t go on lunch time if you dont want to wait in line and have a place to sit down.

Also the day walking and wondering around saw these yellow school busses, they are real!

Union Station, so the main station from where can go everywhere was only ten minutes with train from us. There is all old chairs, dont take it wrong, they were so big and comfotable.

I just drop here couple more pics from Las Vegas, our lovely selfies etc.:D

Ou and we had privat shuttle.;)

A bit gambling, not our thing but at least we tried it.

Checked some good restaurant were we wanted to go and both of us favourite was Luke‘s lobster, they just opened but DAMN it was good.

One night was enough, sure a bit sad to leave the city what never sleeps.

So howdy cowboys, we fly again.

Happily and safe back in LA.
From Walk of Fame some pic also.

The food was amazing there, service top 10 and cheap. Who would think that it‘s cheap to eat there

What else, graffitis were so cool, not just some ugly lines on the walls they actually paint walls and WOW.

Was time to leave again. We were sad to leave but missed the smell of snow.;)

People are too fast sometimes.:D
Next stop, Auckland

First to Honolulu, change plane and kept flying. Too pitty that in 9 hours flight ANY MOVIES DIDN‘T WORK, good job hawaiian airlines, well survived to Auckland, New Zealand. At least we got food this time and drinks for free.;)

Everything at the airport went well again, got all the stuff.

That‘s it about LA.
One week wasn‘t enough but we loved it, definitely not the last time there.;)
Cheers from NZ

Hollywood
Walk of Fame, ou yeah.
We heard from many people that it‘s derty and not so amazing. But we were suprised, we liked it A LOT. Didn‘t find all the stars we wanted but I just drop here stars.

We didn‘t think that there could be cheap to eat and drink but again happily suprise, it is reaaaally cheap! Got nice bucket of beer, thristy mouths were happy

There was wax museums, theaters etc.

We desided not to go to Hollywood sign, yeah it looks cool, probably one of the main places for tourist but the blisters in the feet, with that pain. NO WAY, long way to walk. But we saw it, it‘s real. Good enough for us.:D

Also at the walk of fame lots of street artists, I got goosebumbs all the time, really talented people.

I was a bit sad cause we didn‘t go to Disneyland but atleast I saw Minnie Mouse. Wanted to take picture with her but like everyone else there, catwoman, spiderman, batman etc. wanted money for pics, pyh I‘m not gonna pay for them for pic.

I don‘t know what that guy on the back ground was thinking about Minnie.
Griffith Observatory, we also saw it far away.

Again one tip: even you check on google map the way some where and took a screen shot cause there is no wifi, nowhere, really. Don‘t try to find it, you check the damn street you have to follow but the name of the street change after 100meters, bullshit.:D So if you have bus stop, train, metro near by take that, do not try to find some place alone. Doesn‘t work.
That was Walk of Fame, lots of stars in many street, big buildings, bunch of people looking on the ground like we did. We had time, so first time just looking down like everyone else then walked again looking actually what is around.:)
Cheers

Viva Las Vegas
What I can tell you about our experience of Las Vegas, it‘s just HUGE. Everything, hotels, houses, casinos. If you been in Casino multiply it with hundreds.
So first of all it‘s in desert, so on the way there with car could be boring and long for sure, so we decided to fly. And it was just beautiful.

I told it that it‘s in deserts, imagine how hot it‘s there. First thing to buy, WATER and a lot! And again suncream or if you have it use it.:D
Our hotel wasn‘t at the strip so in center, little walk there and there no big deal (we had shuttle also but walking is nice or) BUT check it million times cause there was only one street to go over railway. We looked like idiots, probably. Walk in the street where was only gentleman clubs basically and some other places, no idea what. Finally we got our selves to strip wanted to buy water, hmm coestet 8dollars, DAMN expensive!
Under the day it‘s also cool, not many people.

Walked till the edn of the strip, all the way to downtown, then tried to find way back to hotel, walked to the same sport other street where you can go over railway. Tired as hell, ten blisters in the feet, frustrated, wind was waaaay too strong, headache and something else also.
Finally we made it back to the hotel, it was time for little nap.

Afterwards back to the strip but with the shuttle and to the maincenter.

Sun was still up, nice and warm.

I also found so cute and huge (again) duck.

Okay that was under the day but isn‘t cute.:)
It was like in the movies, lights, buildings, people, hotels, towers etc.
One minute you are in Venetsia and in the other in Paris

How about New York

It looks like it‘s in German colours, nope sorry it had some other team shirt on.:D
You know movies Ocean eleven, twelve etc, and in one of the movies they are buy the water show thingi? Well I know, it was so beautiful and magical. Felt like they in the movie.

I mentioned that eveything is huge there, here you can see (hopefully) how big it is.

What else, well saw a lot statues, no idea what they weere but looked pretty cool

And the famous Ceasar palace, was bigger than huge, building after building to every direction

So amazing experience again, one tip: do not leave middle of the night there, you need good night sleep.:D
Our trip there was a bit failure, woke up at two o‘clock middle of the night, called first time ever über taxi, missed the first one, then our bus to airport from mainstation canceled, had to find taxi (expensive), no cash to pay taxi, two ATMs didn‘t work, well got in to right plane that was plus.:D
Here is couple more pictures to enjoy

Ou, I saw Elvis there also.:D
But now Cheers and enjoy

Universal Studios
So guys, Universal Studios, as simply as it sounds AMAZING!

We were pretty smart and went there 9am when only Harry Pothead, ou sorry Potter was open. everything looks like in the movies, huge, magical and awesome.

Wanna go and buy all those candies what they ate in train, sure you‘ll find it.

Or take the train, yeaah well you cannot take a ride with the train but its still pretty cool.

Happy Potter-land was one of our favourites, even though we are not huge fans of the movies. Of course we‘ve seen all the movies and like it but DAMN it was cool. Everyone who worked there are witches, what makes it even better.

And the ride, was the best! Seriously, it was 3D, 4D, just hold on tight and enjoy it!

So whats next, studio tuor. We excepted so much more, or I didn‘t recognize a lot there, but our guide was funny. There is some 3D stuff on the round that was nice, I could say that a bit 4D even.

The next stop, Springfield. Have to say everything what you see in the movies is there. It is just weird, cause HOW, but yep. Have a look.

You have to enjoy lovely burger at Krusty burger and take a Duff-beer. Nothing special, the food but MUST!

You can also meet your favourite character, but be fast you are not the only one who wants to have a pic with them. Line can be long. But I was lucky

We look, pretty similar or?
My favoirite part was MINIONS-land. It was so cute and colourful.

Of course we met everyone there, Mr. Cru

I won the UNICORN. IT‘S SO FLUFFYYYYY. Girls were there

And the girls house

But our yellow banana lovers were the coolest

All the way downstairs was, Jurassic Park, Mummy and Transformers. All the rides there was so nice too.

Also saw real dinosaur.

Have a little ‘‘snack‘‘ s‘mores and more smoothie

The day was full of thrill and experiences. We decided to have express tickets what means, once to every ride you can go front of the line, good decision have to say. Otherwise you can wait half a hour for rides. Who wants to spend the day in the lines, no one!
We left before everyone were leaving, no lines again

And went to walk street, again everything just HUGE! Have walk, it‘s not so long.

There was so much more example special effect show, animal actors show and lots of other stuff.
Ouu, have a lot water with you, it‘s expensive place!:D
So once again Cheers guys

Santa Monica Pier/Venice Beach
The first day in LA so of course beach day.
Weather was the best, but be aware even sun doesn‘t feel burning hot use the suncream, specially when you are from Finland.
Santa Monica Pier was pretty cool. With small theme park, lots of restaurant, souvenir shops etc.

Just walk around, smell the fresh ocean air, listen and look artists around and simply as is sound enjoy it.

The way to the Venice Beach is really nice, long but nice. Tip to everyone, have good walking shoes!

When you know that you are near by Venice, you see only skate -and longboards. What is reaaally cool, exactly like you want it.

Venice is so beautiful, more and more street artists, smile, friendly people. Go ahead and talk with people, they are super friendly here and just awesome.

The main thing for us was to see the skate park, so nice how many people were there watching and cheering. Amazing talented people, everyone friends together! Just the way we like it.

Cannot forget my oldman tried some tricks after three years, no he didn‘t brake a leg.

When we think about the first day, it was just like we wanted, even better. Beach are beautiful, people are nice, you can chill as much as you want.
But I don‘t understand why people waste some good shoes.

Juuuust kidding.
Greez from LA. Cheers

Time for Boarding
3..2..1..GO, in two days starts our big journey around the world.
About us shortly: we are finnish/austrian couple and live in Tyrol (yes, it‘s in Austria but when you live here you know that is completely different country) at the mountains. Both of us passion is travelling and snowboarding.
We gonna make our dreams true:
Our jorney starts from München to Los Angeles for holidays. Of course we have to go also to Viva Las Vegas to gamble all our money, just kidding.
After one week of crazy city holiday we fly again otherside of the worl, New Zealand baby. There we stay in Auckland for a week, afterwards to our new home base, Queenstown for whole winter season (if you didn‘t get it yet we love SNOW, never can get enough). We‘ll live there four and half months and explore as much as we can.
After lovely winter for quick summer holiday to Bangkok and so on back to winter Finland, you never know is there winter in October already. Fingers cross.
After country side life back to home Tyrol and next winter starts here for sure slowly or fast, never know.
Greetings from Tyrol, Prost!
