I like babies in the sense that I like watching them from a distance and occasionally waving at them. I enjoy being in the same general area as a baby because it's like we're both at the drug store but I am buying tylenol and you are experiencing a wonderland and you don't even know why you're here. godspeed lil dude.

Hi Paxon! I would really love to see an American Bullfrog tadpole, and any other funky tadpoles you've got! 🙏
AMERICAN BULLFROG TADPOLES:
One of the cool things about American Bullfrogs, is that their tadpoles can overwinter as tadpoles! These overwintering tadpoles can grow HUGE, about 6 in. (15 cm) total length!!!

American Bullfrog (Lithobates catesbeiana), tadpole, family Ranidae, CA, USA
American Bullfrogs are native to the Eastern US, but have been introduced elsewhere, like the Western US.
Considered an invasive species in many parts of the world, where they outcompete and prey on many native species.

Goliath was an American Bullfrog tadpole that for some reason never metamorphosed and grew to somewhere around 8 inches in length. He was found in a pond in NY state.

*********************************************

Paradoxical Frog (Pseudis paradoxa), family Hylidae, found in northern South America
The name refers to the adult frog being rather smaller than the tadpole, which is not something you see with frogs very often.
Adult: SVL of up to 7.6 cm (3.0 in)
Tadpole: TTL of up to 27 cm (11 in) long
Tadpoles in larger bodies of water with fewer predators and more food grow larger.
