In an attempt for a more candidate friendly test variation, the GMAT has cut down its exam duration by 30 minutes to 3 hours and 30 minutes. The aim is shorter sections without any alteration in the course content. The test may not have gotten any easier but certainly will wrap up quicker. Taking up the ‘Grand Challenge’ to Eliminate Depression

The vision for a world with not only strong academics but also robust mental health is one that we at Ubergrad also share. The larger picture is a world without depression and as the first few steps in the right direction, UCLA and 18 other institutions have been holding mental health screening sessions and treatment options for their own students. The universities are attacking the problem both on the digital platform as well as in-person counselling. A World Without Depression
The University of California, Los Angeles, envisions a world where depression has been eliminated. It sounds like an improbable goal, a moon shot. But that’s the “grand challenge” model — tackling one of the planet’s greatest crises. And UCLA is starting with its own students. At least 19 institutions, including UCLA, Carnegie Mellon University and Indiana University, have taken up grand challenges.
