well. i was so excited about uh, blogging my art here, and possibly exploring my characters more. but well. 🥹😭 my tablet broke :)

unless someone knows how to fix it, its done for. it's an xp-pen 22, the old version because i bought it when i was like 15 🥲 but itll keep freezing, the curser will go to the wrong monitor, the shortcuts will change everytime. and no matter what i do to temporarily fix it, it goes back to this mess after it unfreezes. 😭

🥲 it lasted me 8 years 🥹 but it couldn't go any further. anyways, heres a WIP before its untimely demise.

my friends and i were in a call doing character ideations in quick succession 😭 i can't remember if it was a 5 minute timer or less ☠️ but we would just have to move on to the next idea once the timer was up

we loved their designs so much they got lore now 🙏 - he's a powerful warrior, now traveller, whose deceased lover's ghost is tied to the pendant he wears, which he takes to show her the world.

they do not have names, but 🥹 i love them and would like to draw the two of them together often.

First, do you have an self-insert ocs? Or ocs you regard as comfort characters/favs? I wanna know & see them for reasons 👀 science🤓

Secondly, I've realized idk your name😭 I've been tagging you as tea because i thought it was cute, but is there a name you'd like me to call you by?

Welcome, dearest 💛 To my humble abode (my blog) 🤣 I do! Not self-insert OCs but definitely a comfort character...It's Myeong. HAHAHAH 😭 He is, without a doubt, my comfort character.

I have insomnia and a chronic overthinker. He is the first character I think of whenever it's those nights that I can't turn everything off. 😢 It probably sounds a little silly, but I guess you could count it as a mental safe space? I imagine him in a see-through dome under the ocean, and I just follow him, where all he does is lie on the sand and close his eyes. 😅😅

And I can feel every sense he feels: drowned noises of classic ocean ambience, the texture of sand underneath, etc. Usually, it's comforting enough to drown out my thoughts, and it's the same mental safe space I've had ever since I was in early highschool 🤭

He is probably also the one I've inserted into every random piece of media or fandom, so compared to my other OCs his personality has been the most developed 😭 I also have good memories of creating him with my friend in highschool. We had our respective character and we'd chuck them into random AUs and draw and write stories about them in those universes. ☺️🩷🎉

Also Tea is such a cute nickname 🩷 I honestly don't mind. Generally, I go by V in online spaces, and my friends irl do too sometimes. But, I genuinely don't mind either way 💛 or even if you choose to switch it up.

I feel like I talk a lot about Myeong, so I'll shove another drawing of him from a long time ago 🤣
