Thank you so much for this thoughtful response. It really means a lot to read such a grounded take, especially from someone who’s been around the fandom (who also have made some really cool gifs) and recognizes how off this situation feels . I agree with you completely: if she didn’t want to move forward with the collab, a small “no” would’ve been enough. Ghosting, then blocking me from commenting entirely, while she has been talking a lot about mental health, safety and so on, was just... very unexpected and disappointing.
And like you said, I don't think I asked for anything unreasonable, just a basic level of professional respect and communication to make sure the collaboration would be safe and creatively open for both sides. I’ve worked hard to find a band to collab with and create meaningful art, and it pains me to be treated like I was doing something wrong simply by setting those boundaries.
I’m also aware she’s not a massive public figure and might be going through some things I’m not aware of, as the mother of 'The Skyndicate' told me that Skynd needed some time away, but I can only speak from my side, and silence paired with a block feels like a statement in itself, as well as her continuing to make TikTok videos + Instagram posts...
Still, it’s encouraging to know that others like you see what happened clearly. And yes, if things ever do change, I’d still be open to creating something together, because I wish to create something with her with 'Blender' and even 'Adobe After Effects'. But I won’t compromise my integrity just to make it happen.
Thanks again for the support and for reblogging the post too. That kind of solidarity goes a long way.
PS. If you'd like to see some 'Blender' creations of mine based on SKYND, then here's a link to a special folder. There's even a very short 'Bianca' animation, one that took me less than 23 hours to make. No AI was used, because I actually have some experience making Anime-animations using various softwares since I was less than 15-years-old...
Update: even the mods at the SKYND subreddit are acting weird. I just wanted them to "unpin" my ancient artwork, and they responded with...this?
Hi. I'm the artist+animator who used to be active in the SKYND fandom. A Lova Dahn x SKYND collab, inspired by a KORN video that was created with 'Blender', won't happen anytime soon. In short, she refuses to reply to some important DMs, & even the admins at 'The Skyndicate' are confused with her bizarre behaviour. I can't even make a comment on her Instagram posts anymore because my username has somehow been blocked by her. I know many of you were also looking forward for that collab... 💔
Hello! I've seen you active in the skyndicate before and when I received my last anon ask about skynd I thought it was probably you who'd collab with them! Tbh I didn't even know anything about it before that anon told me. Now I'm also heavily wondering who that anon was?
So I read your pinned post on your blog (I put a like on it too, but from my main blog so it's a different url, I'll rb it too after answering this) and it's unfortunate the collab isn't going through for refusal on her part to make you, as a possible collaborator, feel safe to work freely with them and their team.
I have to say I've never really interacted much with her, father or their team, so I can't tell for sure but I've lurked enough around for this to seem a bit odd on her part to do. In the sense that she seemed to always interact with fans with respect, I would've thought if she'd refuse to collab with you upon your request (which is already a bad look given how she does post about mental health, safety etc), she'd at least be honest and say so instead of ignoring you and then blocking you ??? It's a shame really, when you didn't even do anything wrong to her. You just asked to be working in a safe environment in the end, nothing bad with that, but I think her reaction of not even replying, ignoring and then blocking to me says she knows she is in the wrong.
Also, she's definitely not a heavily public figure, so I don't know what might be going on in her private life or the project of SKYND as a whole. I'm not defending her actions btw, I just hope she'll realize she was wrong and answer you. So I hope eventually this can get resolved. And if a collab will ever happen, I'll be looking forward to it.

Addressing the rumors, between me and SKYND
Dear Skyndicates...
I didn't wish to write this, but I felt like I needed to get it out of my chest because of some posts I've seen on this site, of people wanting to see a collaboration with me and SKYND…
I'm writing once again to express my deep disappointment and hurt due to the silence I've received from SKYND. We had previously discussed collaborating on a music video, which felt like a dream come true. However, when I reached out to her on Instagram about a serious personal concern, she chose not to respond. This lack of response felt dismissive and hurtful, especially given the sensitivity of the situation.
She messaged me personally, expressing interest in collaborating on a music video using the software ‘Blender’, inspired by a Korn music video as well as the negative reactions to the band's ‘Bianca Devins’ video, particularly the AI-usage. That moment felt like a dream come true, an artist I admired reaching out to me with genuine creative interest. But when I later reached out to them about a serious personal concern, specifically about a former friend who has stalked me in the past, and who I learned has been attending several of the band's shows in Sweden - SKYND, and even Father, chose to ignore me. I reached out with vulnerability, hoping for acknowledgment, understanding, or even a brief reply. Instead, there has been silence for over six months. Given the sensitivity of the situation and the context, the lack of response has felt incredibly dismissive and hurtful.
Because of this I’ve stepped down as an admin of the fan group ‘The Skyndicate 🖤’ . This wasn’t an impulsive decision, it came after a great deal of reflection and conversations with fellow admins, who are also disappointed in how things have unfolded. SKYND's recent behavior has left many of us feeling alienated and disheartened. Even the mother of 'The Skyndicate 🖤' has expressed confusion over the band's actions.
Believe me, Skyndicates, I wish things had gone differently. There was a time when I was proud to support SKYND and connect with others who resonated with their vision and enjoyed being an admin of 'The Skyndicate 🖤'. I still want to admire them, but I can't overlook how their silence and choices have affected not only me, but others who have tried to support them in good faith.
PS: I wish to ask Skynd to tell her Patreon chat moderator to stop spreading unfounded and frankly bizarre accusations, namely that I plagiarized SKYND-themed memes from her. These claims are completely baseless. Not to mention, I’ve never found her content funny. There is no evidence of me stealing anyone's memes or, even SKYND-art, because nothing of the sort ever happened... If SKYND wish to find a new moderator then I nominate my "loyal raven" @najadahmer to take over that role, as she has proven to be an excellent admin of 'The Skyndicate 🖤' fan-group for years. Unfortunately it's not possible for me to send SKYND any DMs because she keeps on ignoring me, and prevents me from trying to leave a comment on her posts. And I've got the feeling she'll try and do the same thing on TikTok...
