Song: Angels by Mayday Parade
Although Mayday Parade is still a very recognized rock band, they have lots of significant and meaningful songs, one of my favorites is Angels.
This song is about how a man loved a girl more than life itself. After 3 years of relationship, their relationship ended in a way that it made him feel like it was a dream. Because of all the years and memories he had based on that relationship he decides to drink in honor of all the dreams he had based on that relationship.
What I liked about this sing is the simple single-instrument melody and how it matched with he lyrics of the song. Obviously the lyrics is what impacted me the most in this song, and how I was able to feel the pain behind it. One of my favorite parts is towards the end, how all of the instruments get together to intensify the meaning of the lyrics.
Very good song!

Artist: Gus
Moving to a different language, I would like to recommend this amazing Venezuelan artist called Gus.
His music is very simple but unique, his lyrics are very meaning-full and he has a little descriptive poetry in his songs. I feel like his style has never been heard from a different artist from Venezuela. It is very noticeable that he puts his heart in each song he has released and it always have a meaningful message he shares behind his songs.
Top 3 favorite songs: Gaita Zuliana, Frio, Pa que te rias.

Song: I Wish Grandpas Never Died
Although I don鈥檛 listen to country music that much, this song is the one that made me connect and appreciate country music a little more.
I Wish Grandpas Never Died by Riley Green is a very deep song about his late two grandfathers, but also how special things you had in the pasts could last forever. Ever since I knew the existence of this song, my dream is being able to listen to it live with my brother and sing to it with all the power of my lungs.聽
The simpleness of this song it鈥檚 what makes it so powerful the lyrics along with the guitar is what makes this song very unique.

Song: If It Means A Lot To You
I would categorize this as one of my favorite songs.
If It Means A Lot To You is a song from the American band called A Day to Remember. This song is features with Sierra Kay, is about having to leave behind a special person, searing you鈥檒l be back soon but as time passes it even harder and harder. The lead singer Jeremy McKinnon wrote this song while being on tour and living the experience of leaving behind a special person.
The lyrics of this song is what catch me the most, the meaning and how relate I was to the songs, I also liked the soft acoustic rhythm they included and how towards the bridge they were able to make an explosion with the crowd singing in the background.

Marianas Trech
I would like to start my first post writing about this amazing band called Marianas Trench.
Marianas Trench is a band originally from Canada, with four members: Josh Ramsay (lead vocals), Matt Webb (lead guitar), Mike Ayley (bass guitar), and Ian Casselman (drums).
Although is a band mostly recognized in Canada, I really wish they could be more appreciated in the US, what I like the most about this band is their creativity when it comes to produce music. Josh Ramsay (lead singer) involves a lot of uniqueness in his songs when it comes to produce an album. He creates amazing introductory melodies into songs plus harmonies which makes this band very unique.
One of my favorite albums is Masterpiece Theater, they have songs like Lover Dearest, Beside You and Good to You which describes Josh鈥檚 vocal appreciation
