FACTS:

MK wears a raincoat above his common UF clothes because now they walk in rainy areas of Waterfall much more often.

They also think it makes him less visible but the Royal Guard can't be fooled so easily;

Their personality remains the same but now they somewhat keen on adventurism;

Well, they also dislike cruel nature of the world they live in, in particular they're afraid of a lot of monsters;

Yet that doesn't stop them from liking Undyne. They always wonder where she went;

They dislike Papyrus for being too brutal (in his opinion) and watchful (Papyrus always catches them on route to prohibited areas of waterfall);

They when they first see you, they think you're a monster kid in search of adventures, just like them. They never stop to give you an idea to find Undyne.

Let's tell u some lore

So, shortly before Frisk's fall into the underground there was an assassination attempt on Asgore's life. It failed, and all conspirators were executed for treason, but despite this, Asgore was concerned about them bypassing all his palace's defences, and it created a short-term paranoia in the New Home.

Asgore not only decided to improve his palace's defences, but to select some kind of his personal bodyguard and/or New Home's defender. The only person he could think of was Undyne, so he promoted her but allowed to choose a new captain for the Royal Guard. She chose Papyrus because he was the most successful of them all. Asgore wasn't really happy with this, but he admitted Papyrus' strengh and competence so he decided to accept Undyne's choice.

FACTS:

Sans wears slightly different clothes because Papyrus implemented new dress-code on him. This outfit makes him sweat even more than his UF counterpart;

Has like 2 more outfits he puts on in different situations;

His personality remains the same but he's now more responsible;

Zips up his jacket because Papyrus likes to throw lots of snowballs at him when Sans drives him mad (pretty often);

More tired and even can fall asleep during important events or his watching hours, but, at the same time, more enduring than in ordinary Underfell because of hard work Papyrus gives to him;

Always has something up his sleeve to make a funny knock-knock joke, prank or smth like that. Papyrus doesn't like it but there's nothing he can do;

Even tho he doesn't like Papyrus' new rules, he knows the exact reason why his brother implements these, but he still barely complies.

So, in order to ignite more activity here, we decided to even post references of the characters! And the first is, of course, the greatest captain of all times, Papyrus! (art by @justdarkhaos)

FACTS:

He's more armoured than his UF counterpart because more people wanted to kill him as he became captain (and he wanted to look more solid for non-general public, too);

If he's on general public, he puts on his Royal Guard armour;

His personality remains the same but he now acts more like a 'commander' than a 'bad boy';

He's entirely matched Undyne in strengh, but the real power doesn't comes only from strengh, so Undyne is still more powerful;

Perfectionist for a little;

More paranoid than in ordinary Underfell. He's always in fear that he did smth wrong and Asgore has already sent assassins for him or, even worse, for his brother;

That's why he implements some harsh rules on Sans;

Also he never talked to Undyne since he became a captain. There's a tragedy behind this.

I have a few questions!

Will there be some kind of devlog? 2. Will there be translations into different languages? (Russian for example?) 3. Is it possible to port to Android?

JAG:

I hope so. Unfortunately, we barely worked this year, so there might be too few content to show. We were making good progress this summer until our main coder has disappeared somewhere (he doesn't answers my messages and calls, however our other coder says that he is actually working).

We intended to do that at first, but our coder is firmly opposed to it (as he says, It'll be a pain to import cyrillic fonts into the game). If everything will go right, we MAY be able to convince him, however, as an alternate, the game can be translated by our fans when it comes out.

Unfortunately, I can't answer this now. It's up to our coders to make this or not, however, I personally like the idea!

JAG:

Weapons will be the same, even tho battle mechanic will be slightly changed. Locations will be slightly different too (for an example, both Snowdin and first half of Waterfall contain lots of Papyrus' puzzles).

Well, today's 17th of october, Underfell's birthday! So, in a real hurry, we made that crossover video. IT WAS A REAL PAIN TO MAKE, SO SHOW US THAT OUR SUFFERINGS WEREN'T IN WAIN! Also we hope that Fella will notice this, of course.

Papyrus' Royal Guard Armour

JAG: So in previous post I promised to release Papyrus in his Royal Guard's armour in case if TRIDOMINIUMOK allows it. Anyway, he not only allowed it, he drew his very own version of the concept in order to keep everything safe. So, now you can look at it:

a sudden question, if possible, what do you think about the royal guard armor, and is it possible to implement it in the game (if you haven’t canceled the game)

JAG: Actually, we've made a concept of his Royal Guard armour, but this concept is Re-art of the art you sent, so, just to be safe, I won't post it unless TRIDOMINIUMOK allows it. But i'll try to describe (I'm awfully bad at describing smth in english, so forgive me if i wrote something wrong):

His arms are covered in the same tracery as Fell!Undyne the Undying, while wearing the black gloves and dark blue braces with golden inserts and spades over them. His shoulder pads are now dark blue with two golden clubs per each. There are also some golden lines with red squares at the bottoms connecting shoulder pads with dark blue faulds. He also wears a long, intact cape. He also wears black helmet with rhombus-shaped, golden-circled red glass on it. His legs remains the same.

In game, he'll probably wear it during the Betrayal fight (Yes, Papyrus and Undyne won't fight on the Betrayal Route here, but Papyrus will face a really brutal mutiny in the Guard and even will be killed by Doge at the end of the fight, if Flowey won't be fast enough).

Also, I want to say about Papyrus' attitude to his new Royal Guard armor: he thinks that it looks cool, but he still hates wearing it, probably even more than original Fell!Papyrus does.

Once again, we'll probably release the Re-art itself or draw our own art and then show you the design... That's just a concept anyway, maybe we'll change the design even.

sorry, maybe this is a strange question, but you are similar to the fell version of the royal guard Papyrus (if you were inspired by this)

JAG: Our AU is take - our version/interpretation. Actually, when UFC!P was made, we didn't know (and didn't tried to find) about earlier versions of Underfell+Royal!Papyrus, but now we know about at least one of them. We dream of Underfell: Captain!Papyrus being canon for Underfell+Royal!Papyrus, but it looks like that dream will never come true.

Edit 15 october 2023: but that dream came true on 5th of october 2023. So dream, and maybe your dreams will come true at the end.
