Seventh Soul - 85
Aight so this has to be my new favorite page simply because of how proud I am of the art, backgrounds, and shading TvT
Usually I hate doing backgrounds (and still do) but I've been really putting more effort into them and into shading and I think it's paying off.
Anyway, I also wanna clarify because I saw some comments on the last page and people seemed confused so I guess I need to explain: The only way out of the hideout is by teleportation! Sans determined teleporting too far or too many times in a row (with Frisk) is what causes him to pass out due to overexertion, so he told her shortcuts should be a LAST RESORT! Not that he can never do them ever. Leaving the hideout counts as his 1 shortcut for the day(more or less), so he's on "cooldown" now. Which is why they have to "sneak" past Grillby and Diz, because the only place they could TP without being seen was the entrance, and they can't TP again without risking Sans passing out.
He deduced that as long as they keep their shortcuts short (in distance) and keep it to only 1 every several hours (only if necessary), he can use them. Though now he's concerned for Frisk's mental state :3 So he'll wanna use them even less. So yes. Last resort option.
If he could just shortcut anywhere and everywhere, it wouldn't make for such a good story, now would it? 😎
