ShadeTale is a dark, gloomy depressing Au in which humans are filled with hope whilst monsters are filled with despair. Some things in the storyline change whilst other things do not. In this Au, Asriel purposely killed Chara and in a fit of rage, Asgore lashed out at Asriel, accidentally killing him. This sent Asgore into a spiralling depression as Toriel then left him afterwards. Here, Alphys and Gaster are both the royal scientists, though Gaster isn't seen that much. Monsters were not driven underground because the humans feared they would take their souls and become gods, it was because monsters had despair and depression while humans had hope and joy. Flowey accompanies you after you fight Undyne, but betray you afterwards. Mettaton Neo isn't a pushover Shade Sans and Shade Papyrus prefer to be called Shade and Light. If you do the puzzle to get the ancient artifact you get a secret boss fight with...Gaster! Shade Sans is always fought in Judgement Hall. What you did and the actions you took determine how hard the fight will be. There is a secret you can do where you can kill Sans first and in Judgement Hall you will fight Uncontrollable Papyrus. The Skeleton Brothers have cracks in their skulls like Gaster, that's because Gaster is their father. Monster Souls are Grey, not White. Papyrus is the only one able to stay cheery, despite being a monster. Toriels gown is grey and her eyes are Purple. Asgores Gown is grey aswell and the golden shoulder plates are replaced with grey shoulder plates. Undynes spears are black. Alphys wears a black labcoat and so does Gaster. Flowey is a black petalled flower and is the only black petalled flower in the underground, the other ones being grey and purple. Sans magic is grey. Uncontrollable Papyrus has golden magic. That's all I have for now on it!
