Please take a moment to read and share and support this beautiful, healing, hopeful venture in any way that you can. 🙏🏻 Homefire Tea & Botanicals is about authentic comfort and care, going where it's warm, keeping those hearth fires lit through the dark and following them home. My incredible partner Jinx and I are combining our love and knowledge of tea and Jinx's formidable experience in botany and plant medicine and creating something we hope will make people feel genuinely nurtured in this exceedingly beleaguered world of ours. Tea & self-care as ritual. Bringing people back to the Earth. This is a dream that means everything to us, one that we have worked incredibly hard to see realized and one that we are now so gently, so hopefully offering to the world in small, cupped hands. And there are real life stakes on the line; if we are successful, it will finally allow big, important life-improvement changes that we have both been desperately reaching for. It is scary to feel so vulnerable with something that means so much to you! But birth requires courage and labor, and we fiercely believe in Homefire and its concept here; deep care, deep comfort, deep healing. This will be a soft place to land and to rest your hearts and bodies in a world that is so often cold and unkind. . . Our initial goal is $1,500. Since Kickstarter is an all-or-nothing platform, we thought it would be best to start with what we think is the absolute minimum it would take for us to get off the ground with our first handful of beautiful teas and a couple of truly efficacious medicinals. 🌿 To add our medicinal teas - and more of our medicinal products that require expensive, high quality ingredients - and to elevate our overall experience for you, we'll definitely need to raise more than that. We will still grow even if we only hit our minimum, it will just take us longer than it might otherwise to bring you the things that we know can help you now. Early support is a big factor in Kickstarter success, so if you think your small pledge or simply sharing our campaign with your friends won't help, it absolutely will(!), and it is precisely those things that will give us an early boost in the various, often defeating, algorithms that control our fate. Jinx and I have put *everything* into making this something we would want to have as passionate tea drinkers and people who use real plant medicine for real life issues ourselves. If you've been a friend of mine for any length of time, you'll know that I care deeply about the well-being of others and have spent my life offering softness and love in service to that. If you're a Strange Fire and Fumery fan, then you know that Jinx equally genuinely cares about his customers and their experience with the things he puts out into the world.
