As I look back on 2018 and how it started, I never would have imagined I would be at the place I am right now, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. A year of immense introspection and a year that challenged me in every way in everything I've ever known, I've ever believed in. When you surrender and have faith in where life may take you, sometimes you'll be surprised where you end up. Little milestones can lead up to significant transformations. 2018 has definitely been an eye opener and a year of enlightenment and inner revelations. I remain truly grateful for everything that happened this year and am ready to embrace everything in 2019 with open arms. For this trip, due to unforeseen circumstances, if I did want to go, I had to go on my own. As comfortable as I may be travelling on my own, this area was damn well out of my comfort zone. So I was faced with a choice, to stay within the comfort of Singapore and sulk for the next 10 days or to simply just go. • So often we forget the power we have in our choices and how much those choices have over us. Of how I could have easily chosen the former and would not be here right now. I could have let my own fears and the fears others have projected from their personal beliefs and bad experiences dictate what I decided but I didn't. • The most important thing I want to tell you is, you don't have to be fearless.
