I was playing Skyrim and I married an Imperial Soldier. Happy for our wedding and new life together, I worked hard and bought Honeyside then went to the temple and told him we should move there.
Every goddamn Stormcloak guard of Riften started shooting my husband and nearly killed him 3 times. I rushed to the rescue (as did Maven Black- Briar, amazingly), and we shot at the Stormcloaks until they were dead. My husband ran into the house for safety, and I tried appealing my bounty to the one living guard when Maven fired lightning at him and killed the man on the spot.
I ran outside the city, a guard attacked, but I put my weapon away and he attempted an arrest. They tried killing my husband and I wasn’t going to let them take me so easily. With a 1040 bounty, I still had the one option: I am thane and you can’t arrest me.
I didn’t have to pay the bounty, my husband is now safely inside the house and will never be able to leave again lest he face death and myself another bounty for defending him, and I am done.

Wesley swayed at the unexpected display and more so as she wobbled, reflectively he widened his stance and placed his hands on her sides to steady the kitsune.
"Perhaps...I had not taken everything into consideration." Wesley said
A knock at Hana's door," Hey, It's me. I brought some chicken too." Wesley shifted the fried bird from his right hand to left, still rather hot. He wondered to himself if she had already heard of the summer festival in Winchester.
“Are you trying to bribe a devoted monk?” Hanako opened the door with an ear-to-ear grin: or at least, an inhumanly wide one. Like a fluid, she slipped through the thin space between the door and the wall and slipped around Wesley to wrap her arms around his waist.
“Got your back!” She hefted him, only an inch off the ground, just to show she could. When she let him back down, she pressed her face into his back. It didn’t smell as nice as the chicken, but he smelled nice.

"They could get seriously hurt if they fall," Wesley thought a moment as he watched Hana struggle to see, "Well, you get a point for landing a hit; but breaking the tip or having their lances shatter awards them more points."
He decided to ask, politely, "Hana, would you like to watch sitting on my shoulders?"

Wesley had been watching intensely, "No one yet, Sir Harvey was nearly unseated but regained himself. This isn't over yet."
The knights returned to their positions, their was tension in the air as their Squires gave the knights replacement lances.
"Here we go." He said as they charged forward again.
A knock at Hana's door," Hey, It's me. I brought some chicken too." Wesley shifted the fried bird from his right hand to left, still rather hot. He wondered to himself if she had already heard of the summer festival in Winchester.

"A little, they usually like being the center of attention." Wesley said, "Don't need to have Ed in your pocket, betting against him is lost money."
He looked over the Knights she pointed out, "Sir Chein?" He said referring to the one with the dog helm, trying to remember him, "decent record, but betting on this match is probably over, Sir Harvey is the one with the eagle Crest. His horse is swift, but from what I've heard his eyes aren't so good anymore. Glass got in his eye when someone bashed a bottle over his head. I can't remember the whole story."

Wesley grinned with nostalgia, a lot of experiences coming back to him, he smiled, "I mean, does it count if I say Edward?"

Wesley grinned wildly as they danced and sang and nodded when Hanako gave a short explanation of what he was witnessing.
And smiled harder still as her lip brushed against his ear, "This is all, quite the performance." He joyfully laughed, enthralled by the crowd's energy.

"Yeah, let's go." Wesley said with a grin, he too loved watching dances at these sort of festivals.

He smiled and started guiding her through the crowd," It's a city festival, a multicultural event. Food and festivities inspired from around the continents, city wide event. Maybe even some food from your homeland, want to look around and see?"

"I'd think their would be a prize." Wesley said, he didn't seem to take any objections with her potential plans to con the matches in her favor," Probably money, or free meals in the city for a few weeks. Something."

Hanako in her true/fox form. Balance of the body takes training, but balance of the spirit requires something more.
