So, as being someone who had a pretty embarrassing fear growing up, I was the one to avoid it as much as I could, but if I caught it, I’d usually watch it as exposure to help conquer the fear.

Unfortunately, what I didn’t realize until 2020, while stuck in a quarantine, I only then realized that I kept getting ideas for AUs and fanfics for other series and pieces of media based off of that episode (and its sequel episode when I eventually got around to watching that). One of these ideas only sprouted up after ANOTHER episode with a similar premise, but done differently. This got me to think; “There’s an episode where Bot needs help, there’s one where Geo AND Bot need help, and this episode has UmiCar needing help, but what would happen if Milli needed the help?”

That’s when my brain started an idea based off of that one episode that gave me the embarrassing childhood fear.

That’s when the premise of this idea began to take shape.

Where Bot and Geo had to work without Milli to save her…

A project that originally had the working title of “Sleeping Milli”, but soon had the chance to…

“To Save a Sister”

And it all starts with a magical blueberry…

BRO I just remembered this post where I mentioned the Geo Mind Control fic that was on the headcanon and fanon wiki, BUT YOU KNOW WHICH TWO FICS I REALLY LIKED?

The first one is was a fic transcript of the Troublemakers kidnapping the Tooth Fairy (that I actually made art for here) BUT IT WAS INCOMPLETE AND I WAS WAITING SO LONG FOR IT TO GET UPDATED/FINISHED, I WANTED SO BADLY FOR BIG TROUBLE AND THE TOOTH FAIRY TO HAVE A FRIENDSHIP IT REALLY FELT LIKE THEY WERE SETTING IT UP AND I'M SO MAD I'LL NEVER SEE IT CONCLUDED

And then the other one was another incomplete fic transcript where Team Umizoomi goes on a vacation to Hawaii for the week, and the reason why I liked that so much was because Team Umizoomi explicitly mentions how the Troublemakers promised not to cause trouble for the week in Umi City, AND THEN IT IMMEDIATELY CUTS TO THE FACT THAT THE TROUBLEMAKERS FUCKING FOLLOWED THEM TO HAWAII, THEY ARE SUCH FUCKING HATERS THAT THEY TRAVELLED TO A WHOLE ASS DIFFERENT STATE WHERE THEY KNEW TEAM UMIZOOMI WAS JUST TO FUCK WITH THEM AND I FOUND THAT HILARIOUS

First off, Fandom Wiki can be unreliable at times due to it's nature as a fandom wiki. After all, It calls Milli and Geo human. Not bashing, just pointing out. The fandom wiki even points out the uncertainty of the kid's ages if you look at their trivia pages.

Secondly, while most sources where Geo's possible age are now gone. They all were official sites where his age was never stated. While Paramount says he is 8, Paramount also has a bad track record of scuffing up information. I don't even know where they got 8 from because no official site says his age as 8.

I should also note that there is now no official way to even find where it was stated where any of their ages come from. Just word of mouth now. But in the original official Team Umizoomi Website Milli was described as 6 and Geo as not having an age

Finally, their heights. If Milli was younger she would be shorter as that is the easiest way to say "younger" especially in an animated setting without outright saying anything. While the sizes of things in TUZ are generally inconsistent, what isn't is that Milli is usually taller than Geo. look.

And while Milli wears platformed shoes, Geo wears skates, making the size disparity equivalent.

This isn't saying you can't have an AU where Geo is older and Milli younger. It's just that in canon and official material, Milli is just generally the older one.

Overall, Milli should be older when working with the rudimentary rules that edutainment shows follow. While Geo might not have a given age, it is DEFINITELY not 8. cause the size disparity between a 6 to 5 year old is likely equivalent to what we see as opposed to a 6 to 8 year old. Which would be more noticeable in canon but isn't reflected accurately.
