Throughout the series, no matter if it's the games, anime, ova, manga, or stage play, Komaeda is always a physical person. His love language must be touch because he does it all the time to his classmates, especially Hinata.

The thing is, though, Hinata isn't really a physical person. He's just has that kind of approachable vibe to him.

So, Hinata will be walking toward Komaeda with groceries, holding his arms out for him to take it, and instead, Komaeda just gives him a big hug. Or he goes to take a sip of his drink, and he looks down to find it has been replaced with Komaeda's hand. They're watching a movie, and that 6' foot snuggle bug is resting his head on his shoulder.

Why are we not using the fact Komaeda spent Chapter 1 informing Hinata in hushed voices and whispers to our advantage for Post Neo-world Komahina?

No secret exchanges in between therapy sessions?

Komaeda isn't leaning in and cupping Hinata's ear during Future Foundation Functional Assessments and follow-ups?

Not even a teasing whisper behind Hinata's back in front of their friends?
