Well, the millennium bug was real, it's just not how it worked, it wouldn't send nukes or anything. Thing is that the computer people knew about the bug a decade before it came to the general publics knowledge. And by that time, it was already fixed, as the fix was a fairly simple one. I can tell more about that if anyone wants.

What should concern us much more, however, is another time bug that will happen in the year 2038 and has no simple fix. There is already computing conferences occurring from time to time to discuss solutions for the problem.

Won't send nukes flying, but would make things like the internet, many production sites, and a lot of computing things we take for granted non-functional

Hmm hard to predict what's going to happen in the future but I hope I'm the prime minister in 2025. I'm now living in the moment, so it's no longer hurting me to remember that 2007 was just a few years ago.
