Do you know why hoyo isn't using their en vas for trailers and other yt vids?
Likely because the majority of their voice actors are striking at the moment. One of the struck companies is Formosa Interactive, which coordinates the English voiceover for Genshin Impact (as well as many other games). The VAs haven't asked for a boycott, and in fact want people to use the English voiceover to demonstrate how essential their work is.

i'm actually so upset about the kinich recast it's not even funny. john patneaude was PERFECT for the role and i'm so fucking sad for him. voice actors deserve so much better than hoyo is giving them.
hoyo has all the power to bring back their voice actors right now. at a snap of their fingers. they just don't want to. this situation makes their stance perfectly clear and my heart actually hurts.
john is so, so brave for standing his ground in this situation.

i don’t know about y’all but if i were asked to replace someone’s job by a shitty company that rips peoples livelihoods away in the blink of an eye because they dared to fight for basic human rights and protections, i would simply refuse, no matter how much money i think i’m going to get. i am not selling my soul and my morals for a multibillion dollar corporation that refuses to pay their employees a living wage.

taylor saying she wanted to choose a song that encapsulates everything the eras tour is and then playing a place in this world is what really ruined me. at the end of the day there’s still a little version of her constantly wanting people to like her and wanting friends and feeling alone and craving connection and this tour has connected and reconnected and strengthened relationships between people across the globe physically and through grainy livestreams and fan activities and it’s making me cry so hard. at the end of the day the little version inside her just wants to feel connected to us and she’s helped so many people who feel that way now feel a little less alone

TAYLOR SWIFT: THE ERAS TOUR 17th March 2023 – 8th December 2024 🏆 149 Shows, Highest Grossing Tour of All Time It was the end of an era, but the start of an age. The only thing that's left is the manuscript, one last souvenir from my trip to your shores. Now and then I reread the manuscript, but the story isn't mine anymore 💚💛💜♥️🩵🖤🩷🩶🤎💙🤍 insp.
We do it because people need an escape from how brutal life can be, and it is the honour of a lifetime to be that for them, if only for a night. And although we are all on our own in this big scary life, somehow it doesn’t feel that way when we’re singing the same words as 80,000 other people wearing glittery face paint. We do it because life comes in waves, in phases, in brilliant flurries of magical moments, and all of these things come together to create….Eras. The most wondrous tour of my life, my beloved Eras Tour.

four years ago, taylor’s grid aligned again, and we got our favorite sister sequel, evermore.
she’s the album that fills any void the holidays may bring, reminds us that our loved ones visit us in our dreams, and that sometimes the only path to healing is to wish for happiness.
going deeper into the woods today to celebrate 4 years of evermore. 🤎 https://taylor.lnk.to/evermorealbum

“long live all the magic we made, and bring on all the pretenders, ‘cause one day, we will be remembered… the only thing that’s left is the manuscript, one last souvenir from my trip to your shores. now and then, i re-read the manuscript, but the story isn’t mine anymore” oh she’s so diabolical for this 😭

I had the time of my fighting dragons with you 🌟
Saying goodbye to this tour is also saying goodbye to watching and interacting with how swifties came up with the most ravishing makeup, stiched up their own outfits for their shows, how creatively they came up with the bracelets and also the uniquely awesome fan projects & traditions (my heart felt full watching those come to fruitition every night!)
I am not a stickler for getting attached to something as non-tangential as a tour. Over the years, I have seen numerous artists tour and give stellar performances, but I have never seen or don't think ever will see as beautiful, positive and crazy as the "the eras tour".
For me, I loved the little traditions that we created for every era, the willow orbs, the fearless hearts, the "we would stay" banners, the friendship bracelets, the "1,2,3 let's go bitch" during delicate, the "you forget, you forgive but you never let it go" during bad blood, the "fuck the patriarchy" and the monetary gasps that all of us took during vigilante shit (I know you did).
I have watched how all of us would collectively lose our mind whenever our favourite song was played during the acoustic set or when she debuted a new outfit on the tour and how beautiful the venue looked during willow in Munich, Germany. All of this to say that taylor swift isn't just a regular famous popstar, she is THE STAR, she managed to create a fandom that was obsessed with sharing friendship bracelets, a community where everyone was happy, free, lonely and confused at the same time and boy was it magical. This tour was a testament to her skills, she used the best of her potential for this and I am so glad that she did. That is something that I love the most about her.
12 year old me first heard a song called "look what you made me do" in a bus while going for a school picnic and now I am gonna be turning 20 when I listen to her version of it, again. I cannot thank taylor enough for this. She has helped me cope with so much with her lyrics and by using the best medium there is- music!
Saying goodbye to the glitter on the floor after the party is literally death by a thousand cuts

also i think guilty as sin? was such a vulnerable thing to put out in hindsight. sure it was important for understanding ttpd, but like can you imagine this is the most anticipated album in your entire career. i mean an insane amount of general public is waiting for it alongside your fanbase. and then you put out this song, which does chalk up some “non-agreeable” sides of you but you still do it. this goes for the entire ttpd album actually, releasing a lore heavy most quintessential you album at the peak of your career. that’s commitment to your art and no one wants to say it because it’s a taylor swift album.
