To be a woman is to preform.

I believe this saying is over looked. In almost every aspect of my life as a young woman I constantly feel the need to impress or prove my self just as a dancer would to a crowed.

If there was one substance to describe myself,

I would say clay.

Clay when untouched is dull, lackluster, and forgettable. Only until someone whether they are skillful or not, comes around and morphs it into something they conjure up. In all I feel as though instead of being something of myself I am something others make. Forever changing for the sake of others.

Each day, we all have countless things that we worry about or are super focused on that we sometimes forget to take a step back and see what is actively going on in the world. As an American girl I have fallen victim of that almost mind control of the constant flow of life, but we as a country especially now need to take a moment and really think about what is going on. With the way things are going with president trump and his fascist phony cult of followers I now live with constant anxiety that I will never complete the things I want to do in life. Whether that’s getting my dream job, marriage, or even graduation. The constant threat of a global or even civil war is always lingering in my mind, if that is what it comes down to , to be able to move forward as a society or even a country I feel deeply disturbed and disappointed. The idiocracy that plagues my fellow Americans is depressing, we do nothing but be on our phones but we never even see anything that is going on in our country. This is due to the extreme censorship our country has fallen victim of. The fact that we have become so familiar with these acts of hatred as well as nazi propaganda it is alarming. Not only have multiple members of trumps party been seen doing a “Roman salute” what bullshit that is , is disgraceful. In multiple cases at trump rally’s the nazi flag has been seen, if we as a country do not stand against this behavior we have really fallen as the so called “land of the free”. Trump, the man who has led the country into arresting thousands of immigrants without due process is also the man who has an immigrant as a wife but also as his right hand man. What gives them the right to be in this country but not some of the thousands of people you have taken into custody and shipped away. Which multiple have been discovered as LEGAL U.S citizens. And honestly our country was set for failure right when the two party system was put in place. Due to the LARGE population of uneducated people in America the two party system has been a great way of roping people in my spouting nonsense and grouping specific ideals to either party . In all honesty there are far extremes to both sides which further drives my point that there shouldn’t be any side to choose from. I believe we should just have candidates, each pose a solution to problems our country is facing while not being tied to a party. Anyways, that’s my rant
