Low balls and rejection
So I am going through a tough time during this 2023 recession. I have been trying to switch from my current job to an organisation which is not particularly service based. My goal organization ranges from Mercedes to Big 4s. Honestly, I started applying last year around October and it has been a full cycle because I have reinterviewed at the company which I started from.
Somethings that I am learning that could help you too are -
1. Please state your financial interest in the very beginning as a reason for your switch.
2. Try to convince the technical round interviewer itself to let you know the results, it would save you a lot of time.
3. Do not accept a lowball offer, you know your worth. Somewhere someone is accepting these lowballs and making the market down. (I understand if you are trying switch from toxic work place, otherwise don't accept lowballs)
4. Try not following up too early. HR needs SPACE
5. Do not reveal to anybody about you interviewing outside, it's just an evil eye
6. If you have the time and little motivation, do the side hustle or at least begin it.
7. Keep applying to positions smartly and do not drain yourself

Hi there!
I fail to understand why the interviewer themselves don't say if we are moving or not moving to the next round. Honestly, it would save a lot of people's time and cut the unnecessary middle man called the HR. The HR could better work on other stuffs since they are loaded with work.
Honestly, I'm not liking this conglomerate structure.
Sincerely,

Hey there!
This is yearly review month here and I have zero to null hopes of getting a promotion/hike. In fact the company did not give hike last year too. I'm wondering why I am not taking up the job offers which are at least giving me 25% hike?

Hey there!
So this company I was interviewed by in May still have the position open in October. I had rejected them because of the talent head's attitude as if he was doing a donation by giving me a job. I understand somewhere between the lines it's the same thing but there is something called being humble and if the HR head is like that, I wondered how the rest would be in the organisation.
After seeing that role open for months I want to work with the company and the job. But I don't want to work with the leadership. Can't these old people just retire and sit at home?

Hey there!
I see a job posting active seen March '23 and it's currently Oct '23. What are they doing on the company end? I am genuinely concerned. If you do not want to hire, kindly hire a better hiring staff.

Hey there!
Remember you get to the discussion of your salary only in the end after manager's have screened you? Yeah it works the same way when you want a raise in your current organization. The HRs are just fancy name of bootlicking jobs and we're all boot licking.

Hey there,
Has anyone of you searched for a job like a maniac and not ended up getting the job you want? I was literally able to crack interviews with the companies I have kept on my goals and received lowballs. It was so disheartening to let go of those opportunities because I could see myself getting frustrated in those companies if my money didn't grow. Also, yes I am comparing myself to my peers and they started making same amount of money as me only to end up earning double of it in these 5 years.
