Girl doesn't wanna get hurt, she wants a serious relationship, but, with a single father? Of 4?! It's a lot to think about, a lot of thought on how said what she wants without being demanding, tho she should be. If you ever want a relationship with someone, I believe is good for your own satisfaction to write down what you truly want from that relationship.

Now, Dan is a single father who loves his children more than his own life, Spends quality time with them, is stubborn and a hot head; as a result Laura should love those kids too, not with the intention of being their mother, but with one of being a role model and support to Dan, she loves Daniel, therefor she Loves Wendy, Marcus, Kevin and Gus.
