Jayce Talis headcanons

- (canon, but) unrivaled mama’s boy

- also kind of a beauty queen, especially pre-council. the moment he had money enough to buy fancy soaps and lotions he did — and sends his mama the ones he thinks she’ll like the most. (he nails it, most of the time)

- much more into savory flavors than sweet, but can’t handle spice, as much as he pretends to. he loves flavor in food, complex flavor at that, but spice is his kryptonite.

- thinks of his lab time like exercise, which means he tends to take care of both his body and brain fairly adequately, but also can elicit weird reactions from people when they see him straight up eating rock salt for “more electrolytes”

- the best cook this side of the river. doesn’t follow recipes at all, though, and his dishes are one-time events. he can try and replicate them with decent accuracy, but they’re never perfect.

- goes barefoot in the lab (and would in the forge if it wouldn’t burn him). he knows it’s a safety violation and actively does not care.

- wants to learn to draw but simply doesn’t have time. does cute little doodles on occasion

- really thick callouses on his hands, but his palms are smooth.

- like a furnace — truly just radiates body heat to an annoying degree.

- doesn’t really snack. if he feels hungry, he’ll eat a meal, and understands the concept of a ���break” much more than his lab partner.

- love language is physical touch but, we all knew that one. will take any excuse to press into someone. (little spoon any chance he gets)

- doesn’t really know how to ask people if they need anything, so he will do his best to accommodate. the kind of person to lend you a sweater if he sees you shivering, but a deer in the headlights immediately if you ask him.

Mel Medarda headcanons

- the only one (of Jayce, Mel, Viktor) who likes black coffee.

- for all her affinity for painting, she despises drawing. she paints with egg tempura and possibly oil, the more rigid, precise lines of a pencil have never aligned with her sensibilities

- messiest handwriting in Piltover

- can’t cook for shit but her baking is heavenly. she also makes a damn good cocktail if you know how to ask.

- used to fidget a ton as a child but was trained out of it — after the events of s2 she begins doing so more and more. it never comes off as anxious, however, moreso elegant.

- the gold in her skin is warm to the touch, like it’s been in the sun all day.

- ^ further, she glows a bit in the dark, even unintentionally. accidental night light, especially when her eyes are open.

- doesn’t decorate her space much apart from her paintings, until Elora commented on it. from then on, she made an effort to display notes, letters, and various flyers or tickets beside her work space. (it makes her feel more present)

- major dissociation issues, will often go through the motions of a day and not process it until far after.

- cannot function at all on low sleep. she needs at least 7 hours to feel like a person.

- used to have Elora braid her hair, she would trade for a self-care/spa day.

- uses exclusively rose-scented products.

Oddly Specific Viktor Headcanons

⁠no honey in his tea but can’t stand unsweetened coffee

⁠trinkets and knickknacks

⁠dries flowers and herbs

⁠writes in all caps or messy cursive, no in between

⁠doesn’t like wearing socks but his circulation is horrible, so he either deals with the sensory experience of fabric or goes without them and has to explain to others (*cough* Jayce) why his feet are blue

^ his poor circulation also causes his hands to remain quite cold, and if he is close with someone, he will rest the back of his fingers on their forearm on occasion. he couldn't tell you why he does it.

⁠doodles animals quite a bit, often in small, cartoony fashions in the margins of his notes.

⁠just despises eating

⁠likes puzzle games but can’t sit still long enough to play most of them
