Almost had to hold opening the house while we filmed this! No idea who's outfit Cush has borrowed or how long they had been practicing but I'm going to miss this ridiculous bunch!

Not that I’m sure how many people will be interested but this was my mixing set up for Macbeth at the Donmar Warehouse (just a couple of buttons/faders I promise!)

This is a rough breakdown of the different parts. The second desk was added part way through rehearsals when we realised we were running out of space on the main desk! It turned into our band desk which was then automated. It should go without saying but the sound designer on this show, Gareth Fry, is something of a genius with making everything work!

Did I get a new label maker during rehearsals so I could label this...yes, yes I did. Did I also have great fun trying to find the right images...also yes.

The thing about standing ovations is that they are like after care for actors: it’s ok that you dressed up and played pretend for two hours! Everyone liked it! No one thought it was weird!
