The world, the universe, the stretches of time and space and everything a man has ever seen or hasn’t seen, everything that’s ever been imagined and everything in between, and you know me.

But the biggest thing that blows my mind is that I know your name but I don’t know mine.

Day 1 at the Firm.

So today was my first day of my internship at a law firm, as I will someday be a lawyer. I started off the day full of coffee and self confidence. I bought a briefcase to really up my law game. To show that I am a serious young lady with serious ambitions at my serious internship. I polished that sucker up, filled it with a notepad (legal), Ticonderoga pencils (black), one pen (blue ink with no chew marks on the cap), a pack of gum (winterfresh), and my current read. 

I showed up at the Firm dressed in my best, hair tamed as much as possible, briefcase in hand, ready to bust some perps. I was promptly seated at my desk, near the printer, back corner, perfect view of the mens bathroom door. I was informed that I will be making copies, organizing files, and probably picking up lunch for the Lawyers. My serious Pre-Law studies at the ole University qualified me beautifully for this job.
