ermmm scratching tsukishima's head as it lays in your lap. he's not saying anything but whenever you stop, he whines a little and holds you just a little tighter. it's the middle of the day, the tv is on, some silly b-movie kei put on before he decided there were better things to do. every once in a while, kei will kiss your stomach very lightly. you think he's trying to say thank you. thank you for scratching his head, for letting you play with his hair, for sitting through that movie, for loving him as deeply as you do.

“Can I have your shirt?”

You pleaded, tugging on his arm as you made the walk home from school.

“No.”

“Please, everyone else’s girlfriend wears their jerseys!”

You looked up at him with doe eyes, a measure that usually made Tsukishima give in. He turned away, in hopes you couldn’t see the pink tint on his face. To his dismay you had caught a glimpse.

He cleared his throat and pushed his glasses further up his nose, facing you again.

“Still no.”

You grumbled softly under your breath as you continued walking home, this time in silence.

“Wait here.”

He mumbled out as you approached his house. You stood there for a few minutes before he finally returned, one arm hidden behind him. He sheepishly pulled the item out from behind and thrust it into your arms. The item was neatly folded, the number 11 slightly faded. It was hard to contain the excitement that was beginning to bubble.

“Thank you, Tsukki!”

You reached up and placed a kiss upon his cheek. His face is blooming a darker shade than before.

“It was nothing.”

Tsukishima’s attempt to keep up the facade of stoicism he always displayed but unfortunately for him, his biggest weakness was you.
