Hello!!! This is a looong shot. I have been scouring high and low for a fanfic that I only remember specific scenes from. If anyone recognizes it, do you perhaps have it saved and can share that title with me? You will have a strangers eternal gratitude.

Details I remember:


-It is not completed
-Parental Roy
-At one point Ed's nose is broken, and he goes to a doctor's visit with Maes and Roy only to realize it is a pediatricians office.
- Hohenheim is an ass
- Later in the the fic his back is lashed and he goes to Roy's office. Roy notices the blood through his jacket
-Ed is taken to his home to recover. When Roy realizes it’s more than he can handle, Havoc is called to bring bandages but winds up doing stitches.

It’s all very fluffy, hurt /comfort, schmoopy. I THINK the title may be one word. Could be wrong. I appreciate 😭

Well, it's not easy to find fishnets that don't tear, but Ed has alchemy on his side. That little punk just puts on his fishnets and uses alchemy to put them back together after he's destroyed them getting dressed.

But... to answer your question... Have you ever seen chain fishnets? Super punk. Super cool. This is the best example I could find in such short notice, but I've seen them with mixed metals, beads, charms, and lots of other fun add-ons.

Also immediately following posting this I got an ad for crochet fishnets which are tear resistant. I can see Al taking up crocheting in his free time amd he makes everyone crocheted presents and even though he thinks Ed is so extra with his gothic style, he surprises Ed with crochet fishnets.

How does one give Edward Elric automail-safe fishnet sleeves? 🤔
