inverttale- meeting undyne and alphys

(Player walks out of Ruins.) (They appear and see a pathway leading up to the door behind them. It’s snowy and many trees hang overhead and such.) (Player walks.) (Eerie music plays, and a loud noise goes off suddenly. Player stops but then proceeds.) (They stop randomly in front of a bridge with a gate thingy.) (A tall silhouette appears from behind them after walking.) * H u m a n . * H a s n ‘ t   a n y o n e   t e a c h   y o u   h o w   t o   g r e e t   n e w    f r i e n d s ? * F a c e   m e   a n d   g r a b   m y   h a n d . (Player turns around.) (Silhouette stretches out an arm and player takes it.) (A blue spear appears over the locked hands and the player jerks away.) (The spear disappears and it shows a blue fish-like monster with red hair and green hoodie.) * Fuhuhu! The old spear in the hand trick, it’s ALWAYS funny! * Anyways, ah, hey there. * I’m Undyne. You’re a human, right? * That’s fine. * I’m actually, uh, supposed to be watching for humans right now... * But I don’t feel up to the challenge, fuhuhuh. * Now, my friend, Alphys? * She’s a human-hunting FANATIC!!! * ..! * Hey, actually... I think that’s her up there! * C’mon, let’s go. Yeah, go right through. * Alphy made that gate too wide. * EVEN AN ELEPHANT COULD WALK THROUGH IT!!! * Wait... do.. elephants even exist down here?? (They walk through the gate and stop. A magical huge convenient-looking apple is sitting. It’s upside down.) * Quick, behind that conveniently-shaped apple! (Player walks behind it quickly and hides.) (Alphys runs up.) (Undyne:) * Sup, Al? (Alphys:) * U-Undyne! You know what ‘sup’ !!! * It’s been 11 days and you still haven’t... * R-recalibrated! Your! Puzzles! * You just sit around your d-dumb station all the time! * WHAT do you even DO??? (Undyne:) * Stare at this cool apple. * It sometimes moves. Wanna take a look? (Alphys:) * N-no!!! I don’t have time for that! * I have to capture a human! * I’ll need to be ready! * I MUST be the one! * I W-WILL be the one! * Then, I, the Astounding Alphys... * W-will get all the things I utterly deserve!! * Respect, recognition... * I’ll finally be able to join the Royal Guard with Mettaton! * P-people will ask, to, be my... “friend?” * I’ll bathe in showers of kisses every morning! (Undyne:) * Huh.. * Maybe this upside down apple will help ya. (Alphys:) * UNDYNE!!! YOU ARE N-NOT HELPING!!!! YOU LAZY SUSHI-ROLL! * A-ALL YOU DO IS JUST SIT AND DAYDREAM! * YOU GET LAZIER AND LAZIER E-EVERYDAY! (Undyne:) * Hey, come on. Chill. * I’ll bait you that I do get stronger. * Stronger than fish bait. (Screen zooms in on Undyne, making a bu-dum-tssh sound) (It zooms out.) (Alphys:) * UNDYNE! (Undyne:) * Come on. * You’re snickering. (Alphys:) * I-it’s snickering of DISGUST!!! * Sigh.. * Why does s-someone as astounding as I... * Have to do so much to get such recognition? (Undyne:) * Wow, sounds like you’re really working hard, you poor dinosaur... must be a real... * Terror-dactyl. (Screen zooms in on Undyne again. A ba-dum-tssh sound plays again and it zooms back out.) (Alphys:) * U-ugh! * I’m gonna go and attend to my puzzles. * As for your work? * Put a little more... * It’s not bad, but it COD use a little more work! * Beheeheeheehee! (Alphys runs off.) (She appears again.) * Hee! (She finally disappears. (Undyne:) * Alright, she’s gone, punk. You can come out now. (Player comes out from behind the apple. They walk up to Undyne.) * You should get going. * She might come back. And if she does... * You might have to sit through more of my HILARIOUS jokes, fuhuhu. (Player walks on but then is cut off by Undyne.) * Actually, hang on... * Err, can you... do me a favorite? * Alphys has been kinda down lately, honestly. * And seeing you might just make her day. * Don’t worry, she’s not scary... * She’s actually a little nervous and such. * Thanks so much, kid. and uh, yeah idk??? i think it’s good but the jokes don’t make sense?? eh they made me laugh anyway so <x,D yaya okiie

inverttale- meeting flowey and chara

Name the fallen human: (any name here) (Sans) “The true name.” (i’m gonna go with sans haha) Player wakes up in bed of golden flowers, they walk into the next room through the hallway and the purple door. Player sees a golden flower with a face. * Greetings! * I’m Flowey. * FLOWEY the FLOWER! * Hmm... * You seem new to this place, isn’t that right? * Wowie, you must be so confused! * Someone should probably teach you how things would work ‘round here. * Guess little old me will have to do! * Ready? * Here we go! (Battle engages, and it’s an inventory. Player is now a heart that can freely wonder inside the inventory.) * See that little red heart? * That, my friend, is your SOUL. The very source of your being! * Your SOUL may be puny now, but it can grow if you gain a lotta LV! * What’s LV stand for? * Why, LOVE, of course! * You want some LOVE, right? * Don’t worry, human. I’ll share some with you! (Flowey winks.) * Down here, love is shared through.. (White particles appear around him.) * Little white... friendliness pellets! * Are you ready? Because! * I! * Am! * About! * To give you them! * Here we go, catch the pellets! (Player catches them but fails and gets hit, health reducing to 1 HP.) (Flowey has a horrid looking grin, his eyes small with no pupils. His text shakes.) * You fool. * In this world, it’s KILL or BE killed. * Why would anyone have any amounts of fun with THIS? (Many, now ‘bullets’ surround the inventory that’s very small now. They circle in on the player.) * Give up and die. (Flowey laughs in a high pitched manner.) (Suddenly, the player is healed. Flowey looks confused, and then a knife scoops him up and flings him away.) (Chara appears.) * Goodness. What a terrible creature, tormenting such an innocent, sweet youth. * Ah! Don’t be afraid of me, partner. I am CHARA, caretaker of the Ruins. I often pass through this place to see if any other humans have fallen down. * You’re actually the first human to come down here in such a long while... hmm. Curious. * Anyways, come, partner! * I will guide you through the catacombs! (The battle closes, and the player faces Chara.) * This way. (Chara turns and goes forward, the player following them.) (They enter the next room.) (Chara walks up the stairs on the left side instead of the right. The player stops and marks the savepoint.) * The shadow of the Ruins hover overhead, filling you with determination. * HP fully restored. (Player then follows Chara up the stairs and into the next room.) * Say your greetings to your new home, partner! * Let me guide you throughout the operations of the Ruins. (Chara steps on four plates and then flips a switch ahead, walks back to their original spot and faces the player.) * The Ruins are full of puzzles. * Like, really old fusions of diversions and doorkeys. * You’d have to solve them to move from room to room, though. * Please adjust yourself to the sight of them. (Chara walks out of the room and the player follows them.) * If you want to make any progress here, you’re gonna have to flip a few switches. * Don’t panic, partner. I’ve labelled the ones you need to switch. (Chara continues on and the player flips the two switches that are marked.) * Nice! * I’m proud of you, partner. * Let’s move to the next room. (Chara walks into the next room yet again, the player taking a moment and trying to flip the next switch that isn’t labelled.) * (This switch doesn’t even work...) (The player proceeds into the next room.) * Since I’m human too, and I’m in the Underground, monsters used to attack me. * So they might attack you, too. * You’ll have to be prepared for this in case it does happen. * However, stay calm! * The process is easy. * When you encounter a fight with a monster, just strike up a little chat. * Stall for time, I’ll come to resolve the conflict. * Just practice talking to that dummy over there. * Yeah, that dummy. (Player goes up to the dummy and Chara watches them.) (Battle engage.) * Seems like you encountered a dummy. (Player chooses to ACT.) * Dummy <3* Check       * Talk * This dummy must have cotton for brains, it’s such a dummy... * . . . . . (Player choose to ACT yet again.) * Dummy * Check      <3* Talk * You talk to the dummy. * ... * Seems pretty dumb to you. * Chara is happy with you! * YOU WON! * You gained 0 EXP and 0 gold. * Ah, wonderful! * You’re getting the hang of this, kid. Inverttale, an Undertale AU

This is the official blog for an Undertale AU, (Alternate Universe) Inverttale! It’s sort of like Storyshift/Jumbletale/Underswap/etc., but the characters are yet again swapped around and have different rolls. Rolls/characters: Undyne will take on the roll of Sans. Alphys will take on the roll of Papyrus. Papyrus will take on the roll of Asriel/Flowey. (Flowey still appears the same, some dialogue may be different though.) Sans will take on the roll of Chara. Asriel will take on the roll of Asgore. Chara will take on the roll of Toriel. (Please note that to respect all others’ opinions, Chara and Frisk will be going by they/them! Use whichever pronouns you feel comfortable with, though. They/them pronouns are just recommended.) Asgore will take on the roll of Napstablook. Toriel will take on the roll of Mettaton. Napstablook will take on the roll of Alphys. Mettaton will take on the roll of Undyne. Minor characters (including Temmie/the dogs/Burgerpants/Nice Cream Guy/W.D. Gaster/Riverperson/Bratty and Catty) will remain the same. Personalities and etc.: Undyne: She’s laid back and loves to crack jokes, but is still pretty tough and confident at times. Despite having 1 HP, she’s clever and attacks really well only if she wants to. She has a crush on Alphys, and sometimes even calls her her “girlfriend.” Undyne is aware of the resets, too, and when you die in her fight. Alphys: This dinosaur-lizard monster thing is still a little nervous, but she’s small and cute and very self-confident. She wants to capture a human to impress Mettaton, the (-cough-fabulous-cough) leader of the Royal Guard. She lives with Undyne and they’re very close and important to each other. Alphys has a huge obsessive crush on Undyne, though is fairly good at hiding it. She distracts herself without her knowing, especially when she knows a human is around. She also loves space food and avocados. Sans: The brother of Papyrus. He’s a skeleton, and hates humanity for reasons. His father was King W.D. Gaster, and the mother was unknown. Sans had learned from Gaster that humans were often quite bad people, hence what they did to the monsters. When Gaster was shattered across time and space, Sans and Papyrus were unaware. This lead to Sans blaming humanity and growing a burning hatred for them. He had decided to “poison” himself somehow with golden flowers, and died. (Know that his SOUL has the powers of a human SOUL thanks to Gaster somehow) He narrates for Frisk/the player and will only appear physically at the end of a genocide route. He is also aware of the resets. Papyrus: The little brother of Sans. He’s naive, sweet and kind hearted. He does not believe that all humans are bad, but doesn’t believe all are nice, too. Sans means dearly to him despite being the younger brother, and he has a love for spaghetti just like Sans does for ketchup. He had helped Sans obliviously to what lead to his death and the failing of the plan to destroy humanity. Papyrus had been under Sans’ control after he died, because his SOUL still lived on somehow. Papyrus gained control while being attacked by humans, and did not fight back. When he faded to dust, many years later, Chara had found the heart lockets and they kept it under a tree near their house in the Ruins. Asriel: The King of the Underground. He’s small and sweet, but shaken and alone. He lost his sibling Chara after killing a human child. Chara knew that all humans weren’t nice, but they were angered by how their brother had killed an innocent human CHILD. Chara left, leaving Asriel in even more pain. He does not like killing or fighting, but feels obligated to do so. He likes drinking hot cocoa. Chara: Once the ruler of the Underground. Asriel is their brother, and is the King. Chara left to never be seen again by the crude and selfish act Asriel did, and they stayed in the Ruins for a very long time. Chara is the second person in this AU you will meet, and they are also human. They’re taller than Asriel, too. Chara loves making chocolate cake and chocolate muffins, anything with chocolate in them. They’re very nice and calm unless you do something wrong, which you can’t in pacifist/neutral. Asgore: The boyfriend of the famous Underground star, Toriel. He lives in Waterfall and Tori lives next to him. He owns a grasshopper farm in the next yard, where grasshoppers will race. He likes gentle flowing music and makes some online sometimes too. He enjoys drinking cups of tea. Toriel: The star of the Underground and girlfriend of Asgore. She’s fit and gorgeous, and has many fanboys/fangirls. She stars in plenty of shows and stops Frisk/the player from continuing during their travel through Hotland and the Core. She’s fairly muscular and average sized, also containing average weight. She likes cinnamon-butterscotch pie and reading in her spare time. Napstablook: The Royal scientist. They created Mettaton’s body, as Mettaton is their ghost cousin Happstablook. Napstablook likes electro/8-bit/glitch hop music as well as mixtapes and remixes. They’re friends with Toriel and helped her a bit at becoming famous. Mettaton: Head of the Royal Guard. He’s tough but very fabulous and self-absorbed. He wants to kill any humans who fall down here, take their SOUL and give it to King Asriel so he can shatter the barrier and save monster kind. His cousin is Napstablook, and they mean a lot to him. Mettaton is good friends with Alphys, and he’s training her. He doesn’t think she’ll join the Royal Guard at all/anytime soon because of her “height” and how gentle she is. Undyne doesn’t know this, but Mettaton fears that if Undyne will find out she’ll hurt him or something. Alrighty! Got all that written out. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask.
