_how can I interact with this blog?

There are two main ways to interact with this blog:

A message is a question or comment sent from one (or more) character(s) to another. You send messages by using Tumblr’s Ask function.

Messages are always open. The anonymous option for Asks is always on.

An RP is a story written by two (or more) people that involves their characters.

RPs can be started by either sending one person a “prompt” through the Ask function or by creating a post and tagging (or otherwise notifying) the person who is to respond next.

RPs are currently open, but they are limited format – see below.

_what should I know before sending a message?

Messages from both in-character and out-of-character (i.e. yourself) sources are accepted! Same-muse, OCs, and characters from other fandoms are welcome.

Please do not send messages as other characters from the blog’s own AU.

M!As are not accepted.

You are allowed to “send” items, but bear in mind that these items will not physically exist for the blog’s characters.

If you want to send a comment or question to me (the mod), please do not include it with an in-character message – use the tumblr Messaging feature or send a separate Ask, instead. (In addition, if you want me to respond, please do not use the anonymous option for Asks.)

I reserve the right to pick and choose which Asks to use and when. I also reserve the right to edit anonymous Asks if I deem it necessary.

_what should I know before starting an RP?

RPs for this blog are message-format only – that is, RPs consist of two (or more) characters sending each other messages as if they were texting/posting on a blog/etc.

Do not godmode (i.e. take control of someone else’s character without permission).

Ask before adding drama to a plot. I am not against having my characters put in difficult situations, but there are those I would want to agree to in advance (e.g. severe bodily harm). Certain situations will never be accepted; if you have a plot idea and think it is suspect, ask.

No smut/NSFW.

Do not force relationships of any kind with any of the blog’s characters.

Please be patient! Muse is a fickle thing.

Please use proper English grammar and spelling (or do your best, if English is not your first language). Please try to have at least one paragraph (3-5 sentences) for your responses.

Rules are subject to change as necessary.

_blog & mod

This is an RP and ask blog for an interpretation of the characters Chara and Frisk from the game Undertale, created and written by Kodai.

The blog is:

Independent. I, Kodai, am the only writer. All of the characters here are my own creations.

Semi-selective. I reserve the right to deny a message or RP if the concept/character makes me uncomfortable, or if I simply don’t feel up to the task. I imagine this will be a rare occurrence, however. Don’t be shy about sending things in!

Multimuse. There are two characters on this blog: Chara and Frisk.

OC and crossover friendly. All characters are welcome to interact with this blog, no matter what universe they come from.

Additionally, I have over 15 years of RP experience. Paragraph style is preferred here, but dialogue-based RP in the form of text messaging will also be accepted.

Are uncomfortable interacting with people who are substantially older/younger than you. Currently I am 31 years old.

Are uncomfortable with the themes/subjects presented by the characters on this blog, or displayed by the blog itself. The entire premise of the blog centers around two virtual but sapient entities who are aware they exist as part of a video game, and depending on the Asks received, there may be discussion of some of the darker themes of Undertale (e.g. suicide, murder).
