does your muse have a sweet tooth?
what, if anything, provokes your muse to violence?
does your muse feel remorse? if so, how do they express it?
Seven deadly sins / accepting
"Seems like you have several questions for me, well that works just fine for me. Let's see.." -"A sweet tooth? Not particularly, I don't mind a sweet here and there, but I wouldn't really go over board." -"Violence? I think you already know that answer, it's fucking Alastor! If I ever got my hands on that--" -"Ahaha! Remorse? Please, as if!" //Yes, Vox does occasionally feel remorse for rare circumstances, in which case he may try to either awkwardly make it up to someone via love bombing them with gifts -- or he just avoids talking about it, hoping it might solve itself.

Oh, he liked the sound of that. She likely had all kinds of info on Alastor. Especially if she'd been trapped and conscious the entire time. If anyone knew his secrets and weaknesses, it would be someone like that. And what all he had to do was provide protection? Ha. That would be simple to do. Not only did Vox have cutting-edge technology, but he had a couple of other Overlords at his side. He was more than confident that he could handle that.
"Well, that sounds like a reasonable enough trade-off. And we both get what we want out of it. Sounds like a win-win to me!" And he would gain a former overlord's soul. That was just a bonus.
"You have my word that you'll have the finest tech available from Voxtek to help you with security. As well as a personal promise from me to ensure your safety from that smiling freak," Words distorted slightly in mentioning of Alastor once again. Sounding more like a television with blown speakers.
Regardless, though, he kept his wide grin and even extended a hand out to her. Now that he had agreed to her terms. It was time to make the official deal. The contract that would sign away her soul, and in return, he would get all the information he needed and wanted about Alastor. Information that he hadn't been able to get himself on account of his cameras always being destroyed whenever they even got close to him or the hotel. Something that he found incredibly annoying.
The one time he had caught Alastor off guard on camera had been during the Extermination. That was only possible because the radio demon had been too busy with the battle to worry about his drones. So he'd known he has been injured. But beyond that, his knowledge of his current status was unknown.
"Is it a deal, then?"
Eris immediately noticed Vox’s anger. Mentioning Alastor alone in someway struck a nerve. Even if he was trying to hide it…she glanced at his hands and watched him carefully. Part of her was worried that he might unleash his anger towards her, but thankfully that did not happen. But it was clear as day that the current overlord in front of her also loathed the radio demon in some way. Which was a good thing in her eyes that meant it was more of a likely chance that he would assist her in eliminating him. However, at what cost….her soul? She knew this was likely but she hated Alastor more than anything and wanted blood spilt.

However, when his demeanor went into a more friendly one she tilted her head slightly and listened to his words carefully. It seemed that Vox and Alastor might have had some sort of partnership which interested her especially sense she had only heard that they had fought nothing else…but yet again that explained his hidden anger previously.
She listened to his words again and nodded before she answered him “Yes a deal…I can give you my soul Mr. Vox….all I ask is protection and some sort of high standing or I guess protection as well sense I hate to say it…but I’m not as strong as I used to be and in return I will tell you everything I know of that bastard…as well as anything else you need..?” Eris suggested softly and quietly as if she was ashamed of it, but her thirst for revenge triumphed over that.
Alastor was weak now due to the conflict with Heaven’s exorcists so meeting with Vox and making a powerful alliance was the best way to kill him. Now more than ever she would get her revenge for what he did to her and her past overlords, but also Vox would also get a big slice of the pie as well. Hell they could even mount the deer demon’s head on the wall.

Vincent's gaze shifted around the room as it seemed to react to the ritual. "No fucking way--"
As the walls cracked and snakes poured from nearly every part of the room, heading towards its center, he stood in awe. His followers shifted anxiously around the circle, some even alarmed by what was happening. A couple of them were sent from the room in terror. Typical. The weak minded never seemed able to stomach much. He should have expected that to be the case. In the event that this whole thing had been successful. And he hadn't even put much faith in the idea that it even would succeed. Yet, here they were.
Once everything had calmed down, the cult leader stood at the head of the ritual, clearly very impressed. Impressed and pleased. Now, he would have something to back up all his promises. A reason to show off to his followers that his word could be trusted. They could have faith in him as their leader that he could provide. Those parts, of course, were all lies. He wouldn't be a con man if he wasn't lying through his teeth just to get what he wanted. This time, he had witnesses. Even better.
"Holy shit! Hahaha!" He gave a short laugh. The few followers of his that remained took a few steps away. They were nervous. Not Vincent though, no he stood his ground. The most he had done was place a hand to his forehead in his disbelief.
Once he lowered it, though, seeming to get over his shock, he grinned back at the devil. An air of confidence and arrogance radiated off of him. This was definitely a man who believed in his own capabilities and felt that he was somehow better than those standing in the room with him. A man who bravely took on feats that probably seemed crazy and impractical. It was no wonder he had crafted a cult following. All for his own schemes.
"Well, I think you really just made me a real believer, haha! Thank you for coming all this way--" He gave a short bow to him, at least to show a touch of respect. He knew better than to question it. "I'm the one running the show here, Vincent Cox. I guess you could say that even in my doubts, I've always been a fan."
A Summoning —— wasn’t anything new for the first fallen , for the King of Hell, there’s been many a human that have tried to conjure him in the past , some he answered, ( mainly those descended directly from Eve his beloved little witches ) and some he ignored or sent lesser demons in his place — the one time Satan wanted to answer one , he ended up assuming his identity and well that was a hassle in a half— or an IOU duck was sent~
All in all it wasn’t often the King of Hell answered summons himself , he felt the tingle at the base of his spine and was tempted to send a lesser servant in his place but stayed his hand something about this felt like it could well entertaining ~ he had been rather bored lately .
“Well Monty let’s see what all this fuss is about hm?” Grabbing his cane and having his familar slither up his arm he walked a few steps to the middle of his throne room and into the large pentagram .
“Hold my meetings for today Bartholo “ he told his Imp servant .
“As you wish sire”
With a flash of blood red magic he was gone.
———————-
It was always interesting setting hoof on earth again , the ground would often crack and burn beneath his feet, snakes would began to gather , as they are doing now slithering towards his entering place , the air seemed to grow both hot and cold, a storm brewing and dissipating all at the same time , as if the very fabric of life was both welcoming and rejecting his presence all at once .
An Angel coming to earth —the Devil touching ground . Creation itself coming to judge them.
The candles burned and blackened the walls cracked , snakes appeared upon the men as they made their way towards the main pentagram, blood seemed to appear in the center of their pentagram spinning and twisting and forming something unknowable , fire spreading around the pentagram until with a tremendous heat the blood formed a shape a vaguely person shape being suddenly stood in the middle of the circle looking around the room with red and gold eyes .
“Hmm interesting been a while since a group has summoned me, usually im aware of all my covens .. at least those that truly believe~” he grinned .

"Vox, darling, can I have a word with you?"
Oh dear, she seems to he in a mood, given the tone of her voice sounded sharp.
"Oh boy, here we go.." He muttered under his breath first and then turned to her with a smile. "Vel! Looking ravishing as ever, ahaha! Of course you can! What is it you need?"

Vox grumbled to himself when he first entered. His grip tightened on his glass while he glared down into it. He'd only just arrived, and already, his blood was starting to boil. Oh, how he hated him. And seeing him like this left a hot ache in his chest. As though he'd been pierced with something molten. Too many memories rushed to flood into his mind. All of it leaves a bitter taste in his mouth. Making it hard for Vox to focus on the real reason he had dragged this smug asshole out here.
His hands were shaking, but not because he was anxious as he would have been on the past. Back then... he remembered how nervous it would make him to be invited out for a drink with Alastor. A young Overlord would watch him in silent awe, admiring him. Becoming engrossed in every word he said.. the sound of his laugh. He clenched his teeth at the memory, forcing it all down. He would not be getting caught up in nostalgia. Not now.
He forced himself to look up at him, offering an equally forced smile. "Yeah, you know it's been some time, but it's not bad at all!" In saying this, he motioned for another drink.
After another sip from a fresh pour, he went on. "So, I already know you're curious about all of this. Waiting for me to go on with my admission of defeat or whatever. And I think I'm just ready to let this whole thing go. Aren't you?"
A lie. All of it is a lie. The device Vox tucked away on the inside of his jacket was a testament to that. The fact that he was forcing himself not to go into a rage fit right there was also another clue. He wanted Alastor to suffer. More than anything else he wanted. He wanted him to pay for the bitterness and anger that he had invoked into his very being. The crushed dreams... his hurt pride and, most importantly, his broken heart. Alastor had taken from him something he had never been able to piece back together, and for that, he would never forgive him.
He would play up this act, though, until he had the right moment to trap him. All he needed to do was keep his cool for that long. Going by everything he had ever reminded the others of, image was everything. Perfection meant playing the part, keeping the eyes of the public, and building a strong and spotless reputation. He would not be made to look a fool. Not this time.
Alastor was prepared to hear what Vox had to say. Not because he felt similarly about letting bygones be bygones, but because he wanted to hear to what ridiculous lengths the other man would go to even minimally win back his favor. He'd agreed to come, and had arrived at the bar, healed from his wounds and as unreadable and haughty as ever.
A truce, to him, was a surrender by the one who had suggested it. He was here to leech the most out of the situation— to humor it!
"Well, hello, Old Pal" Alastor chirped, grinning at Vox wide as he slid into the chair beside him. "Or would it be 'Old Enemy' now? Guess we've ought to chat it out first, hmmm?"
He turned away from him and whisked out the menu, claws holding his monocle in place.
Unlike Vox, Alastor felt no reason to be on guard. He was fine— if anything happened, he'd just leave.
Of course, nothing was going to happen.
"You can start by appealing to my bleeding heart..." Alastor paused. "Is the rye here half decent?"

His eyes followed him as he moved closer to him, just as they had followed them on stage. A calm sense of confidence coming off the Overlord. His hands remain folded neatly on the table in front of him. Although the moment his breath touched his screen, he paused for a moment. Vox clenched his hands tightly together as something stirred deep within him. A flicker of warmth, one he was no stranger to. It was a feeling he got whenever he felt midly attracted to someone.
Did he find this attractive? That was a little bit confusing for him. It was one thing to know someone and be unable to stop feelings from happening. But this unprompted physical reaction? That wasn't something he was used to. Vox played it off, though, shoving it aside with a flash of a wide grin. He did like how smooth he was and forward, too. This was a man who was definitely comfortable with his body and sexuality and that was exactly what Vox was looking for.
"Heh, you know you come off as someone who's very comfortable in what he does." Vox stated as he let the fog clear from his screen. "I like that a lot. Actually, it's exactly what I'm looking for."
Vox shifted in his seat then, if anything, to make his body language appear more welcoming to him. He knew how to entice people and appear more interested in what they had to say or just them in general. In life, he had been a professional con man, a cult leader. He had no doubt that he could charm this one into listening to what he had to offer. Did he want his soul? Not at all. He had come here with the intention of offering him something better. Much better, in his opinion, than wasting his talent here.
He leaned back in his seat, accepting the fact that he'd draped an arm along the back of his seat. Vox unfolded his hands and let one slide down to rest next to him on the cushion of his booth. Even purposely letting come to rest close to the moth's thigh. The tips of his metallic claws just barely brushing against his skin. That wide, confident grin of his didn't fade for a second. Now it was his turn to work the charm.
"You're right, I was watching you intently. Your performance was astounding." The hand he still had resting on the table slid closer towards him, with Vox angling his body just a little bit along with it. "I have an interest in you and your.. talents, and I think maybe an offer that might appeal to you."
He gave a short chuckle then, ignoring the waitress as their drinks finally arrived. "Don't worry, I'm not talking about souls here."
ཐིཋྀ "Of course you're buying, handsome.", Val grinned before waving one of the waitresses over,
"I'll have the usual, Misty."
No need to say that she should put it on the gentleman's tab. Guests always paid for Valentino.
"I'm sure you remember my name from the announcement, right? Given how intently you watched my performance. But just in case..."
Smoothly, the moth slid to the other side of the booth. Now sitting right next to the TV demon, he lowered his head and whispered, a few inches away from Vox's face.
"I'm Valentino."
Meanwhile, one of his upper arms settled on the backrest behind his company. Still close, Val let his breath cloud Vox's screen and wrote his name in the condensation, the i letter dotted with a tiny heart.

He let out a long sigh. He could just hand them over to one or the other, but that would probably cause some unrest. Vox didn't particularly care to deal with their bickering over something as trivial as this. So, in order to make sure everyone got what they wanted, he had the executive decision to take things into his own hands. As much as he didn't necessarily want to. His partners has an interest, though, and he felt it in his own best interest to at least try to appease them somehow. Which meant he would have fo settle.
"Both my associates seem to have an interest in having you do whatever it is they wanna do with you. So, I'm going to appoint you as my employee. As for what you'll be doing.. well, I think that will depend."
He could enlist them as a Voxtek employee, which would place them exclusively under Vox. However, he wasn't too keen on that idea. Although they tinkered with tech of their own. Vox felt that their work was a little outdated in comparison to some of the things they worked on in his company. Not to mention he'd heard of all the failed attempts made. How easy it had been to destroy their work. Then again, an inventive mind did sound appealing to Vox. Maybe even he could use them in that since.
He decided he wouldn't be giving them an official title. No, rather they would be doing whatever it was that Vox needed or asked. If that was to go work with Val and see what he needed, then thats what they would be doing. Or if Velvette decided she needed a new model for something she was working on, Vox would simply assign them to work with her. Everything would be going through him, though. That way, he could keep a handle on this without Val throwing a fit over it or Velvette possibly complaining that he favored Val later on.
"I'm going to be giving you your assignments depending on demand. So if Val or Vel here doesn't need you, you'll be working with me under Voxtek. I think that sounds like a fair deal. And it keeps you off the streets, too. Which, ha like I said is in your best interest."
Normally, he would require some sort of aoul contract for this. His employees were all souls owned by Vox, personally. But he didn't think that would be necessary here. They seemed willing enough to want to keep themselves safe that they had agreed to work with them in the first place. So he didn't think he needed to force a contract. Nor did he particularly care that much to offer one either. In fact, Vox was only doing this because the other two seemed mildly interested.
Now, there was the question as to where they might be staying. Someone on call as it were like he'd planned for them to be shouldn't be too hard to reach. Which meant that he would likely have no choice but to allow them to stay in the tower. Something he wasn't entirely too thrilled about, but it was the most convenient answer.
"I'll even let you stay here in the tower. And.. I assume you don't have one of Voxtek's mobile devices? Because you're going to need one."
This was all very out of left field. They have been incredibly taken aback by both Valentino's interest, and Velvette's potential use for them as a model. Sure, the snake knew that they had a couple interesting attributes, but they were incredibly vain. It was all bluster, for show and theatrics. The drama of waging war, making alliances! What else did they have to do? Power meant protecting the eggs that they laid, it meant surviving the exterminations. They had done so for the last onehundred and fifty years, but it was getting harder.
A sweat breaks out at their temples, they are very clearly conflicted about this turn of events. Sure, it wasn't very dignifying. But they were morbidly curious. The snake had, in the past, provided components to Voxtech. They doubt even remembered. But they had never done business with the other two, but knew it was not at all in their general wheelhouse.
Pen glances between all of them for a beat. Velvette shrugs with how long they take. She wasn't interested in begging, if asking once wasn't good enough, then the pursuit was not worth her time. She continues to scroll on her phone.
Looking back to Vox, lips purse before speaking. "I--"
They were an overlord. But that was before Vox had even entered hell. When things were more arcane, primitive, before the flow of technology had leaked from above. They have been one of the few to trigger an industrial revolution in hell, beyond what the lower rings have managed. Sinners did not have much, but hellborn were far ahead of the curve.
Oh, how far you have fallen.
It appears that he has successfully made his point. The snake was looking for safety, a means to an end. They had not been manipulated into the offer, this was very much an outcome, staying in the tower and joining their inner circle, that they had sought. However unconventional then they had envisioned.
"Fine." Their chin is held high. Not in defiance, they just have very good posture. But they lower it to make proper eye contact with him, tilting a bit.
"What... would this all entail?" Brow furrowed, not entirely understanding if they were a business partner, or a house pet. The latter hadn't even crossed their mind, but all of this was so vague and nebulously put. "You want me to stay here and-- do what, exactly?"
They hardly understood what use they could be beyond the previous deal, to do reconnaissance.
