Thought i could make it through the night without air conditioning but i was wrong. Got up to shut the windows and was mesmerised by the night sky.

There’s just something in the stillness, peacefulness in the middle of the night that makes me feel comfortable, emotional, nostalgic all at the same time.

For a moment there, staring out of the window, i had an urge to make things right with friends i blew off or whatever wrongs i did..

11042018 - Wednesday Another sunmary of the days between yesterday’s post and my earlier post : His friend, a member of sg association (i think) had a free tix to a party so we went, and ended up in a small fist fight where some aus passers-by had to intervene.. it was stupid and we were drunk but to clear things up, we weren’t the ones who started the fight. So we decided to go sandboarding over the easter weekend at port stephen’s. We stopped by blackstar for a light breakkie before heading there and it didn’t even last an hr. I was hungry aft the first few ‘slides’ 😭 it’s not the first time i did that but i don’t rmb it being soooo exhausting - its either me growing too old for that, or because i shared a tiny slider (brekkie) with le man, i didn’t eat much, i’d believe the latter.. anyways, we ended the trip with super delicious korean bbq~ credits to cal, the driver who drove us for hours (back and forth) and chris (co pilot) who navigated cal, while the man and i slept at the back 😰 Oh and between the party and the easter weekend, we went with another few friends for tacos and i pointed out the chef’s recomendation (crickets) which i prolly shouldn’t. Haha they went ahead to order it and came a bunch of tiny ass crickets which is good cos they didn’t look as intimidating. We were kinda relieved but slightly disappointed? Haha because we thought it would be a few of the ‘teenage’ sized crickets 😫 it actually is tasteless, nothing to be afraid of and i’m proud that i’m able to say that! 😁 The other highlight of tacos night was the roulette. So one of the 6 tacos served, is doused with da bomb sauce, extremely spicy, and i got lucky. The thing is, the one who got it, had a very huge reaction aft a bite and the rest of us were curious, so with an itchy backside, we took turns to each take a bite and omfg, he wasn’t kidding with that reaction. It was sooo funny how everyone were trying to snatch the water on the table and checking every cups to see if there’s anymore-even just a tiny drop of water.. we all agreed that if we survived that tacos, we can survive any other super spicy food. 😂 Last pic was a random thought to play mahjong few days ago cos we’re four bored teenagers who happened to have both a set of mahjong and the table. Was lucky that night though we didn’t bet with money 😪

10042018 - Tuesday Its been almost 1.5 mths here, nothing much happened. Its starting to get boring, and idk if that’s the reason to my rising annoyance of his drinking and smoking habits.. As usual, our 10th mth tgt was just like any other day, and i should’ve already gotten used to not receiving any wishes if not gifts. His friend backed him up saying its pointless to celebrate/wish every mth long as they rmb the actual anniversary (yearly).. so what more can i say? I mean, if they cant keep track of the mths, i doubt they can for the (hopefully) years~ but whatever. Managed to make a tub of too creamy tiramisu and too sweet nutella cheesecake.. it looks pretty decent though 😁😁 ‘A’ for effort right? I’m just gonna feel proud of myself regardless 🤓 Contemplating on just resuming my work life back in sg.. everything’s such a mess! I don’t wanna think abt it. *sigh* wish me luck!

#03032018 - Sunday Decided to do a summary of what’s going on.. we had steamboat (hotpot) with the clique for ‘housewarming’ as the man made a mistake of ‘continuing’ the rental for another apt, so he had to shift, thus the housewarming. It was a blessing in disguise though, considering the upgrade of his apt (one room apt to a studio) at a not so high upgrade in rent.. 😰 drank a lil aft the steamboat with his friends and we all had so much fun! It was the last day of cny too.. Went for crocodile, emu and kangaroo meat pizza for dinz today (sunday) at some museum hotel near rocks market with the same friends (excluding one or two of them) from the steamboat and continued with a round of drinks and that’s pretty much it.. haha

#07032018 - Wednesday Made the first actual meal from scratch! Was so proud of myself for being able to finally brave the popping oil while cooking! 🤩 wasn’t as scary as i thought maybe cos its all only veg.. 🤔 Anyways, i made meringue as well! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 funny thing is, i’ve nv tasted a meringue before so aft baking it, i didn’t know if i did it right. 😂 it basically jus tastes like sugar! And reason why i made it, was because the genius man, made salmon for dinz on Mon, decided to make his own hollandaise sauce. So he used the egg yolks and asked me what to do with the whites. And i went hmmmmm... 🤔 so i googled and voila! Another achievement unlocked 😁

#06032018 - Tuesday Haven’t been updating, life’s getting messier, everything’s getting complicated and confusing. Went to syd wif the man on impulse, idk if its for the best but i guess the pic says it all.. Everything just feels... off - like we gave up on each other and we’re just two individuals living together, it felt meaningless, each in our own world and disapproving each other SILENTLY. Its only been a week and a half since i came, it was a one way tix and i’m alr thinking of going back because i don’t think it’ll work out, and its impossible trying to get him to share wats going on in his mind without him giving the generic ans of how perfect he thinks it still is.. (that’s if i probe him on his thoughts every once in awhile).. but its clear to see he wasn’t really enjoying my company as much as i’d think.. Maybe its me thinking too much since i have nothing to do while he attends class, therefore getting all paranoid and start straining our relationship. Its actually frustrating for me too, but its his final year and i don’t wan anything to affect his studies. Just wish he’d be more willing to share everything that’s on his mind wether positive or negative..

#13012018 - Saturday My not-so-injured toe (anymore) from the countdown at sentosa on new year’s eve 😭 He gave me a small bouquet of one of my fav flower and took me to fat boy burger at dhoby where he had his cheese burger to satisfy HIS cravings while i settled for salted egg crab pasta which was meh~ Still feels like we just started dating 7 mths ago (in a good way) and i hope it’ll never fade 💕
