Your honour, my client, blorbo and pathetic meow meow did all of those things and more that was never committed to paper, but, have you considered that my client blorbo would rather flirt with his own forever permanent destruction at the hands of his own kind so his whiny, wet cat, hypocritical,bitch Byronic (affectionate) boyfriend/functional ex husband/who even knows at that point it is complicated, doesn't have to face the consequences for the thing he definitely did (get interviewed) and who is also libelling flirting with my client in the press by way of his interview and my client does all of this anyway.

*I know Louis de Pointe du Lac and Lestat de Lioncourt are the trendsetters as cultural resets of vampire fiction. That is the but of the joke. However, full offence to my client's ex, it is still funny (derogatory and affectionate) that Monsieur Louis de Pointe du Lac does the 70s-2010s Anne Rice vampire equivalent of W.atergate, cause, full offence Louis, that masquerade rule (adjacent) thing was broken... a while ago. Within the first 10 pages of your book awhile ago. Still, he faces no consequences cause, whatever you say about my client, true or otherwise, he has a lot of bi disaster feelings, and whimsy, and he is going to use them to make a point to us mortals about monstrousness and ourselves.

A mermaid concert is a psychedelic experience in itself (and apparently nobody gets eaten, he's asked around about it). But vampires experience some wildly altered states, so he thinks it's more of an amusement, not even a novelty. Of course, if you ask Magnus, he experienced altered states as a mortal as well. He experimented with substances until finding a blend that let him be perfectly semi-conscious, in a lucid dream, and share the memories inside a vampire's ashes. After all, you can't just walk up to the vampire cult who killed your soon to be vampire boyfriend, and ask what you want to know!
