in his defense (he has no defense he's just dense) he somehow magically just forgets about it all, opting to focus more on football than on some "secret admirer" the only way he's gonna talk to you is if you start somehow affecting his training or if you come talk to him about it.

so that's exactly what you did (not ruin his training, but by writing him a note!)

"Hey i got your letter, you wanted to meet me?" He asked, waving to you, walking in your direction. Your cheeks were starting to feel hot with his every approaching step. "I think i've seen you before, you went to watch one of our games right?" He smiled, your hands started sweat at his statement, a light blush dusted your cheeks too.

"Actually, i've been meaning to say this for awhile. I really admire you, isagi. You're always so hardworking and determined, and you're a really nice person too. I've admired you for years now." You took a deep breath, deciding if you should carry on with your confession.

"I love the way you smile, the way you care about others around you, how you always try your best during your training sessions, i lov-" Your heart clenches, hands gripping the sides of your shirt so tightly that your knuckles turn white.

You sighed, ready to throw away your friendship with the boy in front of you with just a few words. "I love you." Tears prick your eyes, releasing a breath you didn't know you held onto.

"Please don't cry." He cupped your face with his hands, his heart clenching from seeing your eyes full of tears threatening to spill.

His lips softly meet yours, tears falling down your cheeks as you closed your eyes. "I've always admired you too, I've loved you since i first saw you. I'm sorry it took me this long to realize you felt the same." His hands gently caressed your face, wiping away your tears in the process.

You thought you were so sneaky weren’t you? Stealing small glances at him during his practise.

Well in your defence you did your best trying to only look at him when he wasn’t facing in your direction but bachira has this, almost scarily accurate 6th sense in him that lets him know someones watching him.

He’d smirk a little, barely fighting the blush that so desperately creeps onto his skin. He can tell who’s gaze it is that’s fixated on him, (you!) and spoiler, (he’d be lying if he said his gaze didn’t wander to you sometimes.)

You decided that after awhile off just stealing glances at him, maybe even a few greetings here and there. That you should at least try get to know him a little better.

So you started off small! Something really casual (that you had to go through 12 heart attacks to even muster up the courage to walk intentionally to his direction, let alone speak to him!)

Taking another deep breath and after reciting your lines for the umpteenth time. “Here, I noticed you forgot to bring your own one today.”You breathed out, relieved at the fact that you didn’t stutter. Pointing to the boy’s obvious absence in his bag, handing him a newly bought (from a vending machine, with your own money..) ice cold water.

“Ahh you’re such an angel, how much was it?” He started scavenging around his wallet, looking for any spare coins since he mostly carries notes.

“Its alright! It was only a dollar, I really don’t mind it.” To Bachira, your smile was sent from heaven. How could he let go of the chance to repay such a kind soul?

“Allow me to take you out then. Ah! AH! AH! I will not be accepting anything that’s not ‘yes’” He blurted out, not even allowing you the chance to refuse.(as if you would)

“Ah im sorry, I didn’t mean it that way. You can say no if you’re uncomfortable. Ahh I’m so—“

“I’ll go, ill meet you after your training?” Smiling triumphantly at how you managed to both, shut up AND fluster the boy standing right in front of you.

After waving you off, Bachira turns the bottle around in his palm, until he sees some black ink smeared on his palm, probably from all the condensed water. “Ive admired and liked you for a long time, ill continue to support you regardless of your view on me.” He barely manages to decipher from all the smudging, the handwriting being incredibly small didn’t help at all.

He smiles at the thought that his feelings for you have been reciprocated, mind racing at how your little date will go after his practice.

laughs maniacally, thinks it's the funniest thing he's ever had the joy of seeing.

giggles dying off as he wipes the tears forming in his eyes from laughing so much. "i love this part about you." he smiles as he grabs some wet wipes and goes to wipe your glasses for you.

"here, maybe this will help you to see me clearly." he winks at you, giving back your now very clean and clear glasses.

he'll keep bringing up this moment for a few days, the memory never failing to make his cheeks sore from smiling so much.

stares at you like you're insane.

completely bewildered at how you just ripped off your glasses, proceeding to squint at him. "do you need help cleaning them..?" he points to your glasses, a small confused smile appearing on his face.

you shake your head, "just wanted to see your reaction." you giggled, replaying the imagine of him being the embodiment of "?"

"you look cute without your glasses." he smiles, pecking your forehead before placing a kiss on your lips.

would not care, would not give two shits. would absolutely keep looking down at his phone while playing one of his games.

"seiiiiii" you whine, trying to divert your boyfriend's attention to anything but his stupid phone. "hm?" he looks up, having paused his game to listen to you.

"nothing." you huffed, a little upset he wasn't even listening to you at first. "i'm sorry, here ok. don't be upset ok?" he says, handing you your glasses that were beside him when you had dropped them.

"you look nice without them but i'd rather you have them on so you can see me." his face was inches away from yours as he placed your glasses back into place.

"you ok there?" you chuckled, rarely seeing this side of him since he's very calm most of the time. "you called me pretty." he muttered, its not like he wasn't used to the compliments of others but it meant a whole lot more when it was coming from you.

"yea? what's so surprising about that?" you cupped his cheek with your hand, rubbing your thumb on his cheek. he didn't respond, instead opting to melt into your hand.

"thank you my love." he placed a kiss on the inside of your palm, causing your cheeks to warm up.
