Howdy! Remaking this post to see if it can gain some more traction but hi I’m Val, I work part-time at a gas station to pay bills and food while working on projects in my free time.
I am a queer black artist and due to where I live, my gender expression and race, and my mental health; I can only work part time to avoid any extra mental stress.
I've been chipping away at rent backpay that I've accrued since 2021 (half part of my negligence and half because of my building switching rentors multiple times over the years, leaving tenants without any formal communication) but getting a text like this has me against a wall right now.
I've reduced some of my prices for previous commission types and it would also be super helpful if you could share around!
