My name is Saja. I’m a wife, a mother, and a woman who once believed her story would be simple. I thought my days would be filled with watching my daughter grow — from her first smile to her first steps — surrounded by the small joys of everyday life.

But life had other plans.

War has returned to our home. Again. And once again, we find ourselves living under skies that never seem to rest.

There was a moment — a fragile, breathless moment — when the bombs paused and the world seemed to remember us. It gave us hope. We thought maybe, just maybe, we could start to rebuild. But now, we are back in the dark — hiding, holding on, praying.

I’m writing this not as someone seeking pity, but as a mother who has no other choice but to speak.

Imagine holding your baby in the middle of the night, not because she cried, but because the world outside roared too loud for either of you to sleep. Imagine whispering bedtime stories not to lull her into dreams, but to keep the fear from settling into her tiny bones.

This is my life.

This is my daughter’s life.

And even now — especially now — I believe in softness. I believe in kindness. Because when everything else is taken from you, hope becomes the most valuable thing you have.

Why I’m Reaching Out Our home has been damaged. Our lives changed. But through it all, my daughter wakes up every morning with a smile. She reaches for me with trust, with love, with faith that I will keep her safe.

That’s why I keep going.

I’ve launched a campaign to ask for help — not because it’s easy, but because silence is no longer an option. I am asking for support not just for me, but for my baby, and for the quiet strength of so many mothers like me who are fighting, every single day, to hold their families together.

I am Marwa, a mother of three girls, Belasan, Joan and Nada, ages 7 to 14. 🔊🔉🔈I will take a moment to share my story.📢📣

My children and I lived under bombardment and aggression. We had a safe home full of dreams and a bright future for my daughters.

But everything changed when the war on Gaza began. Our house, which we built with strength and effort before the war, was destroyed.

We lost our job, which was our only source of income. The journey of displacement and moving from one place to another began without the minimum necessities of life. We faced difficulties in providing healthy food and clean water. We lived in fear and terror. My daughters could no longer sleep from the intensity of fear.

My mother-in-law suffers from serious lung infections and chronic diseases, and we find it difficult to provide appropriate treatment for her, especially in the winter and the bitter cold. She is part of our family after losing her husband. We are now without shelter, moving from one place to another, and struggling to survive. Today we have no income, no life, and no work. We are determined to rebuild our dreams, secure our future, and rebuild our home. We cannot do this alone and we need your help in building our lives. Your support, no matter how small, can make a big difference. Thank you for helping us find hope on our journey.

babies, please remember that it doesn't exist such a thing as "the right way of regressing". everyone regresses for a different reason, a different trauma, a different mechanism. and even if you and other person have the same reason to regress, you must understand that you're still different people and each one deal with trauma in their own way. one thing that works for another person may not work for you and that's totally okay, you just need to find out what works for you and this will be the right way of regressing. what makes you feel good, comfy, safe, loved, this is the right way of everything.

here’s some daily task ideas for littles and pets!

hello, little loves; it’s alune. these are some of the tasks that we incorporate into our little mea’s days to help them feeling productive and accomplished and to make sure their belongings and body is clean, healthy, and happy!

we personally add them to our finch self-care app so they are all in one allocated and manageable space that encourages positive habit formation, and so our little one can earn the rainbow reward shards and collect cute cosmetics for their birdy as a reward in a safe and monitored environment.

❧ Thinking about a soft day in with my little one. It’s raining out, and we’re both feeling just a bit too sleepy to go and play in the puddles. My little one would grumpily force themself up, a blanket wrapped around them before I scoop them up, kissing their cheeks until they giggle and stop pouting. “Baba can’t have a grumpy baby on his hands!”

❧ Deciding on a show or movie franchise we can commit to for the day, humming and nodding along whenever my baby excitedly points to an option and starts to babble. “Oh my, what a good choice bug! Hmmm, maybe a bit too much of a big kiddo movie. You like cartoons, right bubby?”

❧ They could help me make a snack board, choosing their favorite treats and foods to eat. They’d sit on my hip the entire time, pointing at what they want in the cabinet. “I hear you chipmunk, but we need at least one veggie. C’mon, just one for baba?”

Playing with toys looks different for everyone, even actual children!

Playing with toys can look like: 🧸🪁🚂

Taking pictures of your toys and writing captions for them

Brushing or grooming soft toys or toys with rooted hair

Ordering or sorting your toys by colour/species etc

Making up stories, poems or comics about your toys

Dressing or accessorising your toys

Imagining your toys talking to you or each other, forming opinions of their own, etc

Drawing your toys

Taking your toys for a walk outside, even in a backpack or pocket if you don't want to carry them openly

Making lists of the toys you have and where you got them etc
