Catch me saying this would be my last blog a few months ago... oops. After a few days of consideration, I’ve decided to start up a new blog as somewhat of an... extension of vankoya and Ivory. As a few of you would know, whenever I’ve changed blogs, it’s been an entirely clean slate—I haven’t transferred any of my previous WIPs or ongoing series over. That won’t be the case, this time.

As of this post, vankoya will be considered inactive and nothing more than an archive. What I will be transferring over to the new blog includes: A Ticket to the Sun, and all of the WIPs that I have listed here, such as Finifugal, Room for Two, My X’s and Y’s, etc. Overall, I am not discontinuing A Ticket to the Sun, nor am I planning to remove any of my WIPs. They will all be written and posted on either this blog or my new one.

So you might be wondering why I’m doing this, and to be honest, I’m not entirely sure myself. It just... feels right to let this blog go? I like changing things before they go stale and not sticking to a single course for too long. And I have been with this blog for almost two years, which is wild! Despite the move, I will still be using the same Ao3, Wattpad and Twitter accounts. I will simply be changing the handles to my new one, and that’s all. My fic rec blog, thelibraryofbts, will also remain to be used.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this blog up until this point. I appreciate all of you, your messages, and your likes and reblogs so so so much. I love you all. You make the whole experience of writing endlessly rewarding, and I’ll never be able to express my gratitude enough!

would you be creating an entirely new persona in your new blog as you did with ivory/vankoya? i think it’s really cool that you kind of mark your writing in different “eras” in that way(!) at least that’s how i’ve seen it in the past :’)

Among all of this decision-making, I actually forgot that I’d have to come up with a new name sdfgshs but I wouldn’t carry Ivory over to there, no. I’d probably just go nameless for a while until I figured something out!! Maybe I’ll finally go by my real name for some true this-is-my-actual-last-blog-change finality.

i think it'll become a hassle when you're active here again and the other blog will become a liability,,, so think about it before doing the new blog. good luck~!

Sorry, I’m not entirely sure what you mean by the whole liability thing!! 🤔 But I wasn’t really clear. I meant that I would shift my activity entirely to that new blog, and solely use this blog to post the finales of AOFS and ATTTS once they’d been written. After they’d posted, I would cease using this blog any further.

I really had no idea how bad it was when it came to scalpers when I bought my tickets, it was my first time ever going to their concert despite being a fan for years. Out of 3 friends I was the only one able to get a GA Floor ticket and I could only get one unfortunately. It’s really sad to see that people really make a whole like business off of concert-goers who just really want to hear and see their faves perform.

I’m sorry your friends couldn’t get tickets!! 😔💔 Scalpers and scammers are actual scum. I’ll never understand how people can do awful things like that and feel good about themselves.
