AITA for killing two of my sons

Okay, first for a little context - they (30m + 34m) aren't actually my children in this timeline, since I (ageless male) actually adopted seven other children in their and their siblings places, but they still insist on calling me their father

Now I did bond with one of the sons - let's call him Kristoff. We spent some time together, and we mutually helped each other out. I think he even came to like me, strangely enough. But he was too much of a liability and had to go in case he ruined my plans. And he came back anyway so I don't see what he has to be mad about.

Then there's the other son - call him Lewis. Lewis was a necessary dearh. He was what brought the two families together and if I needed them to go along with my plan, then he had to die. And he was also brought back to life, by me by the way. And I even improved his physique.

When the family found out from Kristoff, they were quite mad. One of them even killed me, though, at the time I was draining her family and two of my own children of their powers at the time so it could have been that too, but thankfully I managed to fix myself into the reset universe before she did that.

Both deaths were necessary to stop the end of the universe, and really they're both alive now, so is everyone just overreacting or AITA?
