• Works at a book store in the local mall.

Used to play in a coed baseball team for a majority of her high school where her teammates made fun of her for liking anime & and manga, which led to her being more closed off.

(As well as some minor internalised misogyny)

Her relationship with Geek Girl is a little strained due to her making fun of other geeks despite being one herself.

Both her and Geek Girls parents are not really that present. Their dad (Fransisco) is a doctor, while their mom (Sasha) is a call center agent.

Shes mostly left to take care of her sister, which lead her to grow up much earlier in life.

her only time for her to relax and truly be herself is when she's alone in her room, reading manga, and watching anime.

Vivian before Major Character Development™

Vivian attended prom. She didn't want to but felt like she has to, they'd probably conplain about her being too much of an shut in which is the last thing she wants to hear right now.

She just had to stick it out and deal with snide remarks and small jabs directed to her since it's the last time she ever has to deal with them ever again.

But when she overheard her "friends" talking about how childish she was and how she was such a social climber, she realised that no matter what she does, they'll always find something to ridicule her with.

Her interests, her appearance, her fashion, she had tried to change all of these things to fit in only to just now realise that it wasn't enough.

Fed up and tired of being in heels and her scalp being a little too tight, she called her parents to pick her up early and go home.

On the drive home, she starts looking back at all the things she did when she used to hang out with her old "friends." How they would make fun of other people for being interested in "nerdy" things. One of those being her sister. (Geek Girl aka Maya) She goes and makes amends with her sister and tries to better herself and make up for all the times she's bullied her.

Seeing people put their ocs in Bill's dream as one of the ensigns is so cute yet so funny when put into the context of the comic and not the pilot.
