: ̗̀➛ He would be very gentle about it, along with being very open. He wouldn’t exactly say anything right away, because he trusts you. However, he feels the need to communicate his feelings, so that’s what he did. You were very understanding and did everything in your power to help him feel better. He was honestly overwhelmed how much effort you put into making him feel better.

I’d say no drama would be caused, issue would most likely be solved in less than three days at most.

╰┈➤ Shinazugawa Sanemi ;; The Wind Hashira

: ̗̀➛ He would be very possessive

This man, right here, is not afraid to show his emotions when it comes to you. He would wrap his arms around you, with his thumb rubbing soothing circles on your stomach. He’d probably also be kissing your cheek every 5 minutes. (Leaving possible love marks in front of the man hitting on you.)

I’d say, yes, drama would be caused. However, he can’t stay mad at you. Issue would be solved in a week or less.

: ̗̀➛ Hmm, for this man is tricky. I feel like he’d be very quiet about it, but he’d be fuming next to you.

He isn’t too big on public affection, so he’d just stand next to you, vein popping out of his head, with that sharp glare of his. That stare is enough to scare off the man hitting on you. He’d probably go on a rant how you’re his when the both of you return home.

I wouldn’t say this situation would cause drama, more likely cause tension for a day or two.

╰┈➤ Tomioka Giyu ;; The Water Hashira

: ̗̀➛ Self-conscious. I don’t know how else to put it, I’m sorry.

Listen, this man’s self-esteem is almost at rock-bottom, you have to be very careful on how much affection or how friendly you are towards others. He probably wouldn’t bring it up, but you eventually notice, practically forcing it outta him.

You have to reassure him constantly for the next week or two.

╰┈➤ Mitsuri Kanroji ;; The Love Hashira

: ̗̀➛ Uh, for this woman it’s hard, I’d say she’d be very affectionate?

Once she noticed the man hitting on you, she’d start grabbing your hand and hugging you. She’s a sweet-heart, she wouldn’t tell you until you both got home that evening. She told you about her issue with it and was generally being very open. This made the situation 100x easier, and everything was solved that night.

You took her out to dinner the next day just to be safe.

: ̗̀➛ He’d be mature about it!

Like many others on this list, he wouldn’t say anything until the two of you got home, so you could enjoy your evening. He’d also be very open and honest. However, he’d probably be very upset when he saw the man hitting on you. Not that he doesn’t trust you, it’s just a little upsetting to see a man hitting on your spouse.

You guys spent the night cuddling.

He spoke to you later about it, he explained his feelings and he doesn’t understand why he feels upset about it. You assured him you only have eyes for him.

: ̗̀➛ She’d be upset about it, but also takes care of the situation maturely

When she first witnessed the scene in front of her, she just put her anger behind a smile. However, when the two of you got home, she very calmly but coldly explained her feelings and why she felt the way she felt, you felt somewhat scared to be honest. You reassured her, and nothing else came out of the situation.

: ̗̀➛ Ugh, this man would be very cocky about it.

He doesn’t even bring it up, he KNOWS you can’t and won’t find anybody better than him, so he knows you won’t leave him for some homeless rando that looks like he hasn’t showered in decades. He doesn’t act weird about it, he goes on about it his day rather than bring it up. Nothing comes out of this situation.

I certainly don’t think Sanemi Shinazugawa understood how love worked. He was traumatized by his father, so he’ll most certainly have the wrong idea of love. He’ll most likely believe it’s cold and dark, and if he ever fell in love, it’s over for him. However, when he met you, his world turned upside down when you showed him how love truly is. It felt fuzzy, warm, and comforting. Love wasn’t those things all the time, it also felt cold and dark like he anticipated, but it was rarely those things when he was with you. Sanemi is glad to be yours and only yours. He can’t wait until he starts a family with you.

A DETECTIVE AND A ROOKIE

a/n: i didn’t even proof-read this. I just sort of wrote this in my car, drinking my hot-chocolate from Dunkin’

Cw: murders • cursing • chopped up finger • weapons • and uhh..idk. Just enjoy

The city definitely wasn’t a good place to live. It was filled with robberies, murders, or as others would call it, “crime bullshit.” However, all of the people who caused chaos always ended up behind bars. Why and how? Because of the detectives. The city locals are always impressed by their work, continuous praise was always thrown the detectives way. The locals show them gratitude, because without them, this city would’ve gone to shits long ago.

However, there has been a cult going on numerous killing sprees, making the locals isolate themselves in their homes. This cult was wearing masks, along with gloves, making the case extremely difficult to crack. How will the detectives solve this case?

CHAPTER 1 ;; NOT MY CASE

it was 7:47 in the morning and the detectives flooded the office, the wide room being filled with groans, chatter, or footsteps. The detectives that were on the case were frustrated, none of them have gotten a single piece of evidence, and any evidence they did have were either fake, or it was from a different crime scene. The police weren’t much help either. “Ellis, I need you to take over of case 20.41 until the detective decides to stop slacking off,” Mrs. Sanlin, a divorced woman whose kid had unfortunately passed away at the hands of the cult members, hissed, tossing the file in Ellis’ face.

Mrs. Sanlin was the powerhouse, the boss who wouldn’t give two craps about firing you or taking you off the case. “There’s always better detectives than you.” That’s the excuse she uses whenever firing anybody. “Yes, ma’am,” Ellis chirped, quickly scanning over the file and hurrying back to her desk. Mrs. Sanlin hums in satisfaction, walking away and scanning over the room.

As she looks around, she couldn’t help but notice one of the desks being empty. She goes over to the desk, examining the file on it; the person took case 0.309. “The cult,” she murmured under her breath. She took the file with a firm hand, her brows furrowing in frustration. “Orland, come here,” She demanded, hearing footsteps coming her way. Orland, who was three seats away from the empty desk, got up and quickly hurried over to her side. “Yes—Mrs. Sanlin.”

She looks over the lanky man, he looks very drowsy, that didn’t sit well with her. “Whose desk is this?” She asked with a firm tone, making Orland anxious. He looks over at the desk, blinking slowly then turning his attention back to the woman.

”…Sanemi- Sanemi Shinazugawa, ma’am. He’s always- late,” He replied, his hands trembling slightly. She hums, scanning through the people in her head, trying to figure out who the boy was. There was a loud slam which echoed throughout the room, making Mrs. Sanlin’s head turn. There she saw a white-haired man shuffling his way over with what seems to be a bag in his hand. The man had his uniform halfway tucked in, with his hair ruffled and tangled. He looks like he rolled out of bed and hurried his way over here.

Once he spotted Mrs. Sanlin, he slowed down and let out a nervous chuckle once he saw her angry expression. “Good morning, Mrs. Sanlin,” Sanemi said with hesitation in his voice. The boss wore an unamused expression on her face, she throws the file back on the desk, her brows furrowing. “Sanemi Shinazugawa, why are you late? Again, must I remind you. This case is very severe and the life of the citizens are in your hands, why are you slacking off?!” She seethed, getting in Sanemi’s face. “My apologies, ma’am,” he replied, stepping back and tucking in his uniform.

“I was at the recent crime scene from yesterday night. Plus, I found this,” The man says, placing down a plastic bag. The bag held a bloodied knife and a chopped off finger, which has been cut up. Mrs. Sanlin had a look of utter disgust on her face, she turns her head back to Arrow Rose. “Sanemi Shinazugawa. Tsk, I remember you now. You’re the detective who never got anywhere with the case. I’m taking you out of the case temporarily until you find actual evidence—“

“Mrs. Sanlin, with all due respect, this is evidence. We can use the machine to check whose DNA this is—“ “Shinazugawa,” “— and find out who’s murdering everyone in the city!—“ “Sanemi Shinazugawa!” Mrs. Sanlin hollered, making everybody in the room freeze, turning their heads to see what the situation is. “You’re no longer on this case, I will contact you for a new one; go home,” She tsks, walking away, leaving Sanemi the center of attention. The snow-haired man knew better than not to argue with her, he slumps his shoulders in defeat, walking out of the building.

He opens his car door furiously, collapsing onto the seat as he rummages through the passenger seat. He opens the files. There’s multiple photos of corpses, DNA strands, along with plastic bags of the evidence. He throws it out of his car and immediately slams his car door, his head hitting the wheel. “God fuckin’ damn it,” Sanemi hissed, the car beep echoing through-out the neighborhood.

It was 4:43 in the morning, the sun not even up yet. Sanemi was on the couch, with a random TV show playing in the background .

RING RING RING! The sound of his phone ringing echoed in the apartment. Sanemi groaned, lazily grabbing his phone and answering it. “Hello?—“ “Is this Detective Shinazugawa?” Sanemi grumbled, wiping his eye. “This is he,” He replies, waiting for a few seconds for the woman on the other end to respond. ”Yes, there was an incident in street FlowerBlade ave. 7384. The cult was there recently and left a lot of DNA that could lead up to who they are for case 0.309.”

Sanemi was slightly confused, he pulls the phone away from his ear and looks at the contact. It’s the agency who alerts detectives when a crime scene occurs related to their case. “Detective Shinazugawa?” The lady calls out, that’s when Sanemi puts it on speaker and replies.“Listen, I’m not taking the case anymore. I believe Mrs. Sanlin assigned someone else the case—“ that’s when the snow-haired man got cut off by some lobby music. He freezes, standing there awkwardly. “This lady did not just put me on hold, oh my fuckin’ god,” Sanemi says, in disbelief. He hangs up and glances at the TV, and behold, a reporter in front of a popular jewelry shop that had glass shattered and red tape surrounding the area. “Oh.”

Sanemi panics, grabbing his coat, snatching his car-keys from the hanger, and rushing out the door. However, the reporter adds one last thing.

“They’re currently after some detectives, I’ll provide the names and photos of the individuals.” Sanemi’s face and a few other workers pops up. The detective agency is in danger.

Sanemi makes his way out of his car, and he sees multiple cop-cars, news-reporters, and cameras. “Hey! Are you licensed to check the scene?” A firm voice said. Sanemi glances over his shoulder and it’s a police officer. “Hello, and yes, I am,” He replies, taking out his badge. The officer nods and goes somewhere else. Sanemi rushes into the crime scene: blood is everywhere, weapons, and shattered glass. “Huh. Someone got shot, but who?” “Billy Kenson, the owner of this jewelry store.”

The white-haired snaps his head towards the voice, and in front of him is a H/C female, with glasses over her head and a hand in her pocket. Sanemi places a hand on his knee, forcing himself up and stared at the H/C female. “And you are?” he raised a brow. The smaller femalegrinned at him, “Detective L/N, head of this case.- Y/N L/N if you mean the whole nam- just here,” She took out a badge and showed it to Sanemi. He furrowed his eye-brows looking at the badge then back at Y/N.

“I have never seen you around here before. You sure this isn’t fake?” Sanemi pointed out, grabbing the badge from Y/N and inspecting it. Y/N lets out an “uh” when Sanemi snatches it from her. She smiles awkwardly, stepping back as Sanemi tosses her the badge back. However, Sanemi was severely judging Y/N. How could someone like her could do better than he could do? Y/N looks like he’s fresh out of high-school.

“First day on the job and already got an important case,” She shrugged and continued. “Mrs. Sanlin told me the previous person who had the case was not taking it seriously and decided to give me a shot.” Sanemi’s eyes widen, a vein popping out of his forehead. What? The white-haired clenches his fist, his mouth forming into a scowl. “Is that so?” He replies, his head screaming curses at the young boy in front of him. “Yup! I’m surprised I got such a good case on my first day, what’s your name?” Sanemi ignored the girl, shoving Y/N out of the way. `Well, damn. Okay, good talk!” She snickered to herself. Sanemi opens his car door, getting in the drivers-seat, and drives off.

Y/N on the other hand holded a lot of evidence that might lead to solving the case in a day. She was a detective who moved recently to the city for the job he got offered there. Detective L/N took out her phone and dialed Mrs. Salins number, “...Yes, yes hello it’s Seriff speaking..Uh huh, many bullets, many fingerprints, and lots of evidence. I will process them into the machine to figure out whose fingerprints they are. Yes, yes, buh bye,” she pulls the phone away from his ear, hitting the ‘end call’ button.

She stared at the markers and the news people taking pictures of the scene and sighed. “A lot to inform tomorrow,” she chuckled and wondered how the previous person, Sanemi, had taken 8 months to attempt to solve it. He would then later realize that the ‘terrible person’ would be no other than Sanemi Shinazugawa.

UNHEALTHY BEHAVIORS(?) THE HASHIRA HAVE

Pillars x GN!Reader

a/n; Friendly reminder that this is how I view them. None of the things below are canon or hating on their character. I’d also like to add; I don’t know what to make the title, so I’m making it unhealthy behaviors. Some may be healthy, some may not, so ignore the title and enjoy these headcanons (?)

warnings; unintentional gaslight / intentional gaslighting, toxic behaviors / habits, angst(ish), toxic relationships(?)

bold words = unhealthy behaviors

GIYU TOMIOKA

~He has extreme depression episodes to the point he doesn’t want to see you, in order to prevent you from getting hurt.

Tomioka loves you, he really does. However, in order to prevent him from hurting your feelings (or hurting you in general) he distances himself whenever things get slightly bad. He thinks he’s a disease and doesn’t want to affect you in away way, so he does it in the worst way possible; not talking with you.

~He ghosts you unintentionally

This is similar to the first one, however, he does it whenever he’s feeling better, but still feels guilty for not interacting with you. He doesn’t speak with you, avoids you like the plague, sometimes doesn’t attend Hashira meetings in order to avoid you. After a few months, he goes back to you like nothing had happened. This ended up the relationship forming between the two of you to die out.

SHINOBU KOCHO

~She’s really rude to you for no “apparent” reason.

When the two of you started your relationship, you knew she masks her hostility with a soft smile. She didn’t feel the need to mask her true self around you. However, she can be rude to you for no reason or that something is bothering her. Sure, she’s a mature person, but even mature people can be petty. She doesn’t tell you what’s wrong and even sometimes blames it on you.

~She doesn’t take your concerns seriously.

This applies to her consuming poison. You worry for her health, obviously voicing your concerns. However, she brushes it off like it’s nothing. You guys had numerous arguments because of this subject.

KYOJURO RENGOKU

~He’s too pushy

Whenever you need comfort, he tends to give advice that would more likely help his situation rather than your own. He doesn’t understand why you won’t take it, he tends to get upset because you don’t ’trust him.’

~Too positive

He always tries to find the bright-side of the situation. For example: whenever somebody you’re close with passes or gets severely injured, he always tries to find positive energy of the situation. Which, understandably, makes you upset. He doesn’t mean it, yet he can’t help it in a way?

TENGEN UZUI

~He gets upset when things don’t go his way

Now, I’m not saying this man is a child, but I do sometimes see him getting upset over things that aren’t important. Like, choosing where the five of you get to eat, who’s choosing the dress, etc. He just finds it somewhat degrading..in a way. Like, he’s the man, of course he should have the final say in everything. (Sarcasm)

~His mood determines everybody’s moods

Whenever he’s angry, everybody else’s mood is suddenly down. The air is extremely palpable.

MITSURI KANROJI

~Overthinks, a lot. This sweet angel, known as Mitsuri, tends to overthink a lot. She knows you’ll never cheat on her or betray her in anyway, but she still can’t help that you have eyes for somebody else or wants to pursue someone else. You have reassured her many times that your eyes are on her and her only, but she still has doubts and it just won’t go away. She wants it to go away, but it simply can’t. These doubts in her mind made her somewhat self-conscious.

~Unintentionally guilt-trips you.

Mitsuri tends not to watch her wording or how it’s phrased, so she’ll often say things like, “I’m sorry, I’m such a screw-up, I ruin everything.” However, I don’t think she’ll word it like that, but it’s something along those lines. She doesn’t mean too, but it just slips out, like word vomit.

OBANAI IGURO

~Is extremely controlling, jealous, and manipulative + it’s all intentional

This man right here, knows you better than anybody else, he KNOWS how to get into your head and make you rethink everything. “You’re crazy, I never said that!” Or something along those lines. He always twists things into thinking you did something wrong instead of him.

~He twists your words often

Despite Obanai’s tough demeanor, he actually takes everything bad you say about him to heart. He often uses it against you or make it sound worse than it already is.

SANEMI SHINAZUGAWA

~Extremely possessive

Unlike Obanai, this man knows you can’t and won’t find somebody better than him. However, he still likes to claim his territory? I guess you can say. Whenever you’re out and about with friends, he’s calling you like something happened, and when you rush over to his side, he always repeats “Oh, I just wanted to spend some time with you, baby.”

~He can’t open up

Sanemi is NEVER willing to open up to you, no matter how much you try to persuade him. He pushes you away, and, sometimes, yells at you for trying to persuade him. He doesn’t mean it, I think, however, he finds it offensive that he needs to open up.

a/n; UGH. I didn’t do Muichiro + Gyomei because this an an 18+ reader and I dunno how to write for Gyomei..so. Yh! Anyways, I hope you enjoy.

CONFESSING TO AN EX-DANCER - Sanemi Shinazugawa, Giyu Tomioka, Shinobu Kocho, Mitsuri Kanroji, and Kyojuro Rengoku

a/n; UGH, THANK YOU FOR THE ASK! These are just headcanons for now since I’m working on a Sanemi fic! (I was originally going to do them dating, but I decided to do confessing, why? Because..I dunno. Pls lmk if you wanted something different!) I’m going to be real here, I don’t write for demon characters often, so this might be out of character. Forgive me.

SANEMI SHINAZUGAWA

~When you first became a Hashira, he didn’t exactly care for you. He simply thought you were another Hashira, so why the fuss?

~However, you thought he disliked you, which somewhat let you to also distancing yourself from him.

~Soon, you found yourself becoming close with the other Hashira besides Sanemi.

~You attempt to make a conversation with him, getting nowhere.

~Despite all this, you still attempt to speak with him, go on missions, etc. He soon found you quite..alluring? Your voice was extremely soft, you’re good what you do, and even took notice of your physical abilities.

~I wouldn’t say he was exactly impressed, but it did catch his attention somehow.

~Then when he finally took notice of your skills, I would say his respect for you went up more. That’s when he decided to finally make an effort to somewhat form a friendship? He was hesitant to try and become friends, so he stubbornly figured he could at least speak with you more.

~After a while, he devolved a crush on you. Why? Because of your unshakeable character, how attached you are to your family, and is very intelligent.

~He confesses to you, and oh my, he’s so awkward. He’s stumbling over his words, his hands are shaking, whilst his eyes are bloodshot and pupils incredibly small.

~To his surprise, you say yes to dating him, which catches him off guard but also makes him the happiest man on earth.

~The rest is history.

GIYU TOMIOKA

~When you first became a hashira, like Sanemi, Giyu didn’t exactly take notice of you.

~Whenever you tried to speak with Giyu, he’d just stay silent and listen, and after you finished, he walks away without another word.

~You’d speak to Tomioka normally, with you doing the talking.

~However, when you two went on a mission, he finally saw you in action. He wasn’t exactly like mind-blown impressed, just respected you more as a Hashira rather than someone who’s just there.

~However, you started to show interest in him. It was very subtle, but he was very overwhelmed by the way you attempted to give him affection.

~I’m extremely doubtful that Giyu would be the one to confess, I think you would confess. However, he doesn’t accept your confession, in fear he’d hurt you or lose you.

~I feel like he’d use an excuse. “Give me more time.”

~I don’t see Giyu dating anybody..unless; They defend him, go out of their way to speak with him, and definitely gives him space whenever he needs it.

~And when he does reluctantly agrees to date with you, I’ll just say he’s comfortable..for now.

SHINOBU KOCHO

~When you appeared as a Hashira, she was pleased that another one has been added to the mix.

~I can see her making an effort speaking with you, she’s quite pleasant and that’ll make you feel more comfortable around her.

~You guys speak fairly often, often going on missions together, even. She was also shocked to see you being so..flexible and quicker than her.

~However, when you started to show interest in her, she noticed it IMMEDIATELY.

~I can see her confessing, but I feel you’ll crack first and confess. She’s not opposed to the idea of dating you, but you two are hashira, remember that, so you have to somewhat keep the public affection subtle.

(I can’t write for her, I’m so sorry if this is out of character.)

MITSURI KANROJI

~I just know she’s excited she has a new comrade to speak with! I can see her totally speaking to you first, as you are very shy.

~Her bubbly personality makes you most likely open up to her immediately, I guess I can say you feel somewhat safe around her.
