It’s really hard to like Vax anymore. He’s literally the biggest liar towards Vex. He told Vex in Kith and Kin if he had a way out of the mines he would have left to look for her but he lied! he did have a way out and instead he stayed.

He told Vex he will always be there, but when it was time for them to separate he did not hesitate to leave her to be with Keyleth he was ready for it. And now that he has the ability to come back as a bird he doesn’t even visit her or his family so why would you lie and say you’ll always be there? You only meant that to Keyleth not your sister.
