    it really wasn’t their intent to run away from a fight  /  if it weren’t for wattson,  he’d likely be running in head on at the moment.  given that they already lost one teammate in the encounter,  it was clear that they were in way over their head with that one.  it wasn’t his quick idea to take the jump tower,  but the electrical engineer’s.  the plan was to land on top of the carts at trainyard  --  it was just too bad that he missed the landing by a hair. 

wattson was a strangely attentive teammate however, opposed to himself  (  it was never his intent to leave his squad in the dust,  just that he wasn’t thinking; adrenaline did that to you  )  reaching out towards her hand,  she caught him just before he went tumbling down to the ground,  the strength behind her grip shocked him,  but when you were lugging around huge pylons the entire match,  he should have seen it coming. settling himself next to her,  he mumbled a word of thanks behind his mask.  as much as he liked to call the shots,  octane was fully aware of the fact that it was her quick wit that managed to save the both of them in the first place.  hardly giving her time to breathe,  he quickly asked.   ❛  alright,  what’s  next  ? ❜
