I appreciate the exact way Venti is written to be very charming. He’s this very pleasant mix of silly and just genuinely warm & kind in personality that’s really appealing to watch & is a a very defining yet distinct flavor of genshin character that honestly works really well for being one of the first ones you meet bc hes pretty good at invoking this sort of “seeing an old friend” feeling whenever he pops up later in the game

He’s also a very thematically fun choice for the first archon we get to meet because every one introduced after him just creates this a really amusing contrast. Like never forget Focalors’ tragic death and the Raiden Shogun trying to kill you exists on the same plane as your gay little bard friend in Mondstadt who is in fact an older and more experienced god than almost anyone else in the Seven roster. He has it all. Cute little creature form. Weird hilarious gay situationship with the other old man archon neighboring him. An alcoholism problem. Jovial whimsy. An alcoholism problem. Lots of complicated implications about his emotional state and lore he never tells you about. Blue hair and pronouns. No one is doing it like Venti Genshin Impact
