A single thorny, black rose is left on her pillow. Who got in? Who left it there? Quite a mystery.

Ada had a little apartment she used every now and then, when she had no mission to attend to. Only a few people knew about it. People she could trust. But what she found in her bedroom tonight, she was sure wasn´t left by someone she trusted. A black thorny rose? On her pillow? Normally it was a symbol of love, but...she had her doubts. Besides, she didn´t get many gifts.

“Not really my taste.” The rose didn´t get more of her attention for now, as she found it more important to calmly but carefully check every room to make sure she was alone. After a short time without finding an intruder or any evidence of forced entry she returned to the `gift´ to inspect it a little bit more.

Black. Quite thorny. No sender. No message. It smelled nice though. Probably the only positive thing about this strange occurence.

“You´re quite the mystery. Who left you here, hmm? Whoever it was, I will gladly have a little chat with that person later.” Ada picked it up with a gloved hand, put it into an empty vase on a near table and sat down on the bed. Sure, the flower wasn´t to blame that it was here, that it was black and not red for example, that it made her feel uncomfortable...But Ada refused to give it water. The vase stayed empty. The gift wasn´t welcome. Not yet. Maybe she even had to give up this apartment now.

It depended on one question. Who left it?

It´s Halloween again

“Ah yes....let´s talk about that mischievous guy.

He knows about my profession and still hangs out with me. He knows how to entertain me. He is even able to make me laugh. And this is something I should cherish, I guess. I can´t expect a happy end after all, and still....he´s still here. Spending time with me. Lucky me.

Well, he´s someone I´m glad I met. A friend.

Also: Did you know? He claims to be a god. To be honest with you...it´s not the first time I hear a man claiming that. Wesker you shit, I mean you. But so far I haven´t seen anything godly about him. Maybe one day I will, maybe not. Somehow I want to try to believe him though. That´s why he still needs to tell me more stories about this world called Asgard. I swear, if in the end he is only stealing those ideas from a movie or a videogame, I will NOT be happy.

Another thing I really like about Loki is the fact that he likes mischief and tricks even more than me, I suppose. He can be a lot of fun. Ah, apropos...isn´t it Halloween? I do wonder what Loki´s plans look like for tonight. And maybe I should try to scare him? Hmm...Tempting.”
