Fun fact: Canada doesn’t have pride month. We have pride SEASON. From June to August. We got 3 months of pride alongside events with the community. My personal favourite is the queer markets, as you can actually find cool things, especially goth style or occult. Hot topic exists here but that doesn’t count as goth, the markets have more goth than 3 hot topics combined. Support the community, they know how to do things right.

building a home with your sweet butch lover. keys hanged close to the main entrance tangling memories and pieces of yourselves all at once. the walls full of framed moments that still feel so warm and fresh on your heart. dried flowers you've gifted each other, candles of birthdays you've tried to bake for them. rolls of films used up in a drawer of analog photos taken on tender little trips you've gone on together. the first picture postcard you've sent back home from that spot you went to as your own little family. love letters hanged on the refrigerator taped or with a little magnet. books on the same shelf stuffed with improvised bookmarks you've given each other and little comments you've both added on the side of the narration. clothes folded mixed on the edge of your bed you share. knitted or crocheted blankets, sawn fixed pieces of clothing and sweaters for each other. corners of each room with the scents of your presence, sprayed perfume, your favorite colors and shapes perfectly marrying each other.

btw i’ve never seen pacific rim but i had a dream last night that there was a new pacific rim movie and the kaiju and the big robots were fighting and there were all these gratuitous shots of them stepping directly on cybertrucks with the drivers still inside them and in an interview guillermo del toro said that those were his favorite shots in the entire movie
